First, understand the structure. Paper I is General Ability & Intelligence (250 Marks, MCQs). Paper II is General Studies, Essay & Comprehension (200 Marks, Descriptive).
To get an edge, master Current Affairs by reading 'The Hindu' or 'Indian Express' daily. Also, practice Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning regularly.
Paper II tests your analytical and writing skills. Practice writing one essay, one report, and one précis every week. A clear structure is more important than complex vocabulary.
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and requires stamina. Start jogging, long jump, and shot put practice at least 3-4 months before the exam.
Previous Year Questions (PYQs) are your best friend! Solve the last 10 years' papers to understand the pattern, key topics, and manage your time effectively.
Knowledge without revision is useless. Make short, crisp notes for all subjects and revise them at least three times. This is the key to remembering facts and figures.
