The Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS) is an independent public university of the Northern State of Haryana. It is located in the ‘city of Steel Education’ – Hisar. Bachelor’s Course: Moreover, the most popular courses at LUVAS are Bachelors in Veterinary Science and Bachelors in Animal Husbandry. Lala Lajpat University, as a matter of fact, teaches marketing strategies of livestock and livestock products, conservation of livestock breeds to the management students. Further, the students can enroll in the short-term diploma course of Veterinary Livestock Development.
Master’s Courses: Lala Lajpat Rai University (LUVAS), as a matter of fact, offers admission to many postgraduate courses across 22 streams including science, animal husbandry, and veterinary biochemistry. LUVAS history, as a matter of fact, relates the story of the Indian Partition of 1947. To clarify, the College Veterinary Sciences (CVS) was located in Lahore in the 1880s. However, after the partition of India and Pakistan, the university had to shift to India. Later in 1971, CVS became a part of the Choudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU).
Subsequently, CSS HAU developed into a university. As a result, LUVAS had to be separated from Haryana Agricultural University. Therefore, an independent institute of Lala Lajpat Rai University (LIVAS) was established on 1st December 2010. Moreover, Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) is a constituent college of LUVAS. Currently, LUVAS – Hissar shares the college campus with Haryana Agricultural University. However, the process of developing a high-tech well-developed environment-friendly college campus with efficient infrastructure facilities is going on. The state government laid the foundation stone of a the new ultramodern energy-efficient campus of 300 acres on 15th August 2011. As a matter of fact, LUVAS has the same library as Haryana Agricultural University. As a result, the university has a huge indoor library consisting of 2 floors. The on-campus book shop of the library provides a 20 to 35 percent discount to students as well as the faculty on the purchase of books. LUVAS supports financially weaker students to pursue higher education. The other facilities at the library are video conferencing, multimedia library, internet lab, e-resources, and WIFI connectivity.
Giri Centre for Sports Activities is a unique feature of the campus. It has spacious playing courts. In other words, the sports centre at LUVAS has 2 indoor badminton courts, 2 indoor squash courts as well as hobby rooms and multipurpose indoor gymnasiums.

The admit card for the NEET -UG entrance exam is given a month prior to the exam. A candidate needs to download and print the admit card so that they can bring a hard copy of the same while appearing for the test.
The test centres for NEET-UG are present in all states over India.
There are three sections of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The exam consists of MCQ-based questions, wherein 4 marks for every correct answer and minus one for every incorrect response. Once students manage to clear the written test, they will be asked to appear for a counselling session.
Once candidates get qualified for the entrance test, he/she is called for a counselling process. The same will be notified to candidates on the website.
Candidates who are applying for PhD programs at Lala Lajpat Rai University do not need to appear for any entrance exam. Admission to PhD programs will be based on merit then.

The NEET-PG entrance test admits card is distributed a month before the exam. The admit card must be downloaded and printed so that the candidate can carry a tangible copy with them to the test.
The test centres for NEET-PG are present in all states over India.
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are divided into three divisions.
