The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, was founded on October 2, 1972, by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh is the country’s first Technological University. For the last 44 years, it has been at the forefront of providing quality technical education that is relevant in the state of Andhra Pradesh. However, after 36 years of existence, the Government restructured it into four separate universities via Government Ordinance No.13, dated August 18, 2008, and Act of State Legislature No.30, dated September 2008, and this new University was designated as Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH).
JNTUH has 423 affiliated colleges in Telangana. However, JNTUH has about 3.50 lakh students enrolled. However, many national and international organizations have Memorandums of Understanding with the University. Moreover, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Integrated, and Doctoral programs are available at the institution in fields such as engineering, technology, science, management, and humanities and social sciences.

However, the Jawaharlal Nehru University, Hyderabad, was founded on October 2, 1972, by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh is the country’s first Technological University. It has been at the forefront of providing quality technical education of relevance in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the past forty-four years. Also, after 37 years of unwavering devotion to society, the Government of Andhra Pradesh reorganized JNT University into four separate universities, namely JNT University Hyderabad, JNT University Anantapur, JNT University Kakinada, and JNFAU, by Government Order No. 13, issued 18 August 2008.

The Library began as a library for the former I.P.G.S.R. on a wide floor of the Academic block on the JNT University’s Main Campus in Masab Tank, Hyderabad. Also, it was renamed the University Library in 1990. The University Library was relocated to a new 45,000 Sq.ft. facility with three floors on the Kukatpally Campus in 2004 The University Library serves nearly 4000 UG, PG, and Research students, as well as the teaching staff of the following University Institutions: Institute of Science and Technology with 7 departments, JNTU College of Engineering Hyderabad with 13 departments, School of Information Technology, School of Management Studies, Academic Staff College, Research and Development.
However, first of all, The University Computer Centre first opened its doors in 2000. In addition, it has run a number of staff training programs to help employees learn how to use computers. Also, as part of the upgrade/expansion initiative, a separate training lab with 20 computers was established in 2008, and the number was expanded to 50 additional computers in 2010.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, on the other hand, created its Health Centre in 1976, with little infrastructure and a full-time Medical Officer on campus, and another unit at University Arts and Science College, Subedari. The Subedari section of University Arts and Science College assists students and teachers from University PG College and University College of Law.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium and the UGC Auditorium, with seating capacities of 1050 and 330, respectively, are used for Convocations, Conferences, Workshops, University / College activities, and other events at the University. Ans- On August 19, 1972, Jawaharlal Nehru University was founded to meet the aspirations of the Telangana people for higher education. It is located in Hyderabad, a historical city that was formerly the seat of the nawabs.

JNTUH offers various courses in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Pharmacy and other fields.

Apart from these specializations, there are also six more specializations in Computer Science Engineering in the field of AI & ML, Software, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Networks and IoT.

Candidates are selected based on their performances in the national JEE Main Entrance Examination or state CET Exams. Besides that, the exam results from the 10th and 12th grades are also taken into account while applying to JNTUH. Students must directly apply through the University’s website.

For admission to M.Tech, students have to clear the national GATE examination. Selection is based on the score of students and will be decided on the basis of merit.
There are no eligibility exams for an MCA degree. However, a candidate must have completed its graduation in a similar field with a minimum of 50% to apply for the JNTUH postgraduate program
JNTUH accepts the CAT/State CET/ATMA/MAT/CMAT score for its admission into their MBA program. A decent score in any of these examinations is enough for the JNTUH Postgraduate admissions process.
