The field of Humanities include the study of ancient and modern literature, languages, politics, art, religion, human geography, archaeology and anthropology. As an academic discipline, Humanities  is born as an integrated field of study which is  known as “classics”. It is moreover a theoretical based concept with a vast differences from the scientific concepts. The subject matter of Humanities is restricts to the comparative study and comparative research  rather than the experimentally proven scientific concepts. Methods like hermeneutics and source criticism comprise the concepts and tools in Humanities.

Humanitis  stream include a wide range of fields. They are  as follows:

Anthropology

Anthropology is the science of Humans. It is an integrated discipline of social sciences, humanities and human biology.The field includes  some integrated concepts of natural sciences, humanities and social sciences. Natural sciences include the laws derived through reproducible and verifiable experiments . Humanities includes music, literature, arts ,history, Understanding of particular events or eras.Social sciences include concepts  different from that of natural sciences which are also scientifically developed to understand  different  social phenomena.

Anthropology thus provide a detailed approach to humans and human nature.

Archaeology

Archaeology is an important branch of Humanities which involves reconstructing past lifeways of Human  cultural History by analysis of archaeological artifacts, architecture, biofacts or ecofacts etc. In  this field of Humanities, various material records of Humans and animals are taken into account.Archaeological studies also deals with studies of evolutionary history of Humans as well as other animals based on fossil records.

Classics

Classics in Humanities refer to the study of ancient,greek , Latin and Roman cultures.It is considered as one of the cornerstone of Humanities. Though the importance of classics in the field of Humanities has declined, the study of classics plays an important role in the fields of humanities like literature, philosophy etc.

History

History forms an important part of basic humanities branches and studies.  The field refers to the study of the past. It  is a detailed approach to studym and interpret  the past  records of the humans, socities and institutions.. Although History has been considered as a basic part of humanities, it is also considered as a important branch of social Science in modern academia.

Linguistics and languages

The scientific study of language is known as linguistics. This includes a  detailed approach to an analysis in language. Languages are used widely in different forms in literature in different prose, poetry,drama etc. This also includes the use of foreign languages to study their literature,culture in forms of prose, poetry etc.

Law and Politics

Law refers to the system of rules which is enforced through institutions. It has been an important part of humanities. Law has been developed as an interpretive concept  to achieve justice as an authority. Laws are practical manifestation of thinking from all sides of social sciences. In other words it is the implementation of rules based on concepts of both social sciences and philosophy. Law is also based on economics because any sorts of property law, labour law, company law are utilized to bring changes in productivity and organization.

Philosophy

Philosophy is the love of wisdom which is concerned with the study of the problems related to existence, knowledge, justification, mind, language, right and wrong, validity, beauty, justice, truth etc. The fields of philosophy includes logic, metaphysics, epistermology, ethics etc. The field of semantrics is an integration of concepts of philosophy with linguistics.

Religion

Religion includes the rituals followed by all human groups since time immemorial. These are certain beliefs of human beings followed on community levels. Religion forms an important field of Humanities which set up certain rules for the people as per beliefs of their ancestors. Accordingly there are prople who follows the disciples and also people who rejects it. People who follow the preset principles of a particular group belong to the same religion.

Musicology

Musicology is an important field of humanities which deals with ethnomusicology, music literature, historical musicology and music theories. Undergraduate courses in music focuses on liberal arts tradition which widens the skills of musicians by teaching, communication and listening.

Theatre

Theatre  is the branch of performing humanities which deals with activities infront of an audience. These activities are combinations of speech, dance,music,gesture, sound and spectacle. It plays an important role in implementation of ideas and concepts of humanities.It improves the communication between the people  and understanding  more of a society. Theatre plays an important role in understanding the interests of people and change of interests of people with time.

Dance

Dance is human movement used as a form of expression presented in various social ,performance settings. It forms an important part of Humanities in building up the best relationship among the performer and the audience.Dance is also used to create non verbal communications between Humans, animals and inanimate objects.The field of humanities which creates dance is known as choreography and the person who does this is called choreography.

Political Science

Sociology

Sociology deals with the study of social behavior, social life and human society. Informatics Practices

Informatics Practices involves study of computer Hardware and software. It forms an important part of Humanities applications. Public Administration

Online application

  1. Go to the official website of the institution.
  2. Register by filling the required details such as contact info,email address etc.
  3. You will receive an email from the institution to click on the link and activate your email.
  4. Now login to the website by entering the username and password you have set .
  5. Fill all the details including address of correspondence,permanent address and contact info.
  6. Fill the educational qualifications details alongwith details about percentage secured or grade points achieved.
  7. Upload all the documents including certificates ,photo and signature as per the format in the instructions.
  8. Check on the self declaration.
  9. Submit the form.
  10. The payment form appears.
  11. Enter the mode of payment, debit card details,date etc.
  12. Wait for the page while payment is processing. Donot click the back option while the payment is processing.
  13. Print the receipt while the payment is done.
  14. Print the filled application form.

Steps to follow/Documents to be submitted for admission to BBA course are as follows:

  1. Self attested Xerox copy of marksheet of the last Qualifying exam.
  2. Attested copies of caste certificate needs to be submitted if the candidate belong to St/SC caste.
  3. Postal Stamp worth Rs 6 should be affixed on the intimidation form.
  4. Money receipt proving the purchase of application form should be submitted alongwith the application form.
  5. In case of Physically Handicapped students an attested copy of a certificate from SDMO/CDMO should be submitted.
  6. N.C.C candidates should submit attested copies of N.C.C certificates.
  7. If the candidate has represented his/her college/ institution in the national level, he/she should produce the certificate of participation or achievement of the same.
  8. If the candidate has received any state award, he /she should produce the certificate for the same.
  9. If a candidate has represented his / her state or country in any state level and national level competitions, then they should produce the certificates for the same.
  10. The applicant should submit the attested copy of certificate of conduct for the Head of the previous institution he/she attended.
  11. The applicant should also submit the NSS certificates of the camps attended.
