The exam takes place online. The time duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes. It consists of 120 questions. However, the questions are in MCQ format. Each question carries 1 mark. However, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. 

ICAR AIEEA 

ICAR AIEEA (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is conducted by NTA on the behalf of ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research). Through the entrance test, the applicants can get admission in B. Tech, BSc, and MTech courses in Central and State Agricultural Universities. The exam takes place online. The time duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes. A total of 150 questions are asked. Each question carries 4 marks. However, -1 is deducted for the incorrect answers. Thus, the total mark is 600. 

MCAER PG CET 

MCAER PG CET is a common entrance test for admission into various state agricultural universities. The exam is conducted by Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board. There are ten different exams conducted under the umbrella of MCAER PG CET. The exam pattern of the exam- 

  • The total number of marks on the exam is 200. 
  • Objective questions are asked. 
  • The mode of the exam is offline.

Q5 Are there any entrance exams for Agronomy? 

A5. For, undergraduate courses, there are no such entrance exams for admission. However, there are few exams conducted by the university to offer admission in UG courses. Hence, the admission takes place on the basis of the merit list. However, for postgraduate courses, there are few entrance exams for agronomy admission. Thus, the list of Agronomy Entrance Exams are as follows- 

AGRICET 

AGRICET stands for Agriculture Common Entrance Test conducted by Acharya N.G Raga Agricultural University. The entrance test is for agriculture, seed technology, or organic farming. The exam takes place online. The time duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes. It consists of 120 questions. However, the questions are in MCQ format. Each question carries 1 mark. However, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. 

ICAR AIEEA 

ICAR AIEEA (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is conducted by NTA on the behalf of ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research). Through the entrance test, the applicants can get admission in B. Tech, BSc, and MTech courses in Central and State Agricultural Universities. The exam takes place online. The time duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes. A total of 150 questions are asked. Each question carries 4 marks. However, -1 is deducted for the incorrect answers. Thus, the total mark is 600. 

MCAER PG CET 

MCAER PG CET is a common entrance test for admission into various state agricultural universities. The exam is conducted by Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board. There are ten different exams conducted under the umbrella of MCAER PG CET. Hence, the exam pattern of the exam- 

  • Firstly, the total number of marks on the exam is 200. 
  • Objective questions are asked. 
  • The mode of the exam is offline. 
  • Each question carries 1 mark. 
  • However, there is no negative marking.

PAU MET
