Haryana is a northern part of India country. It was founded in the former state of East Punjab on 1 November 1966. It ranks 21st, with a surface area of less than 1.4% in India. Chandigarh is the state capital while Faridabad is the region’s most important town. Gurgaon is also one of India’s largest financial and technology centers. Haryana has here six districts, 22, 72, 93 incomes, 50 sub-tehsils, 140 community sites, 154 towns and villages, 6,848 towns, and 6,222 towns of the panchayat.

On 27 February 2016, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister, has announced the establishment of the National Institute of Electronics and IT (NIELit) in Kurukshetra, providing youth computer training and the establishment of the STPI in Panchkula’s existing HSIIDC IT Park, in Sector 23. STPI will be the first computer training facility in India. Hindi and English are obligatory languages in schools, whereas the optional languages include Punjabi, Sanskrit, and Urdu.
In Haryana, the literacy rate has been increasing and, according to the population census of 2011, it’s 76.64%. Literacy among men is 85.38%, whereas literacy among women is 66.67%. In 2001, Haryana’s literacy rate was 67%, of which 78.49% were male and female and 55.73% were literate. In 2013, 86.30 percent of Gurgaon’s literacy rates were highest in Haryana, followed by 81.9% for Panchkula and 81.7% for Ambala. With respect to districts, Haryana was 74% higher than the national average of 59.0% as of 2012, with Rewari having the highest literacy level in Haryana: 79% for men and 67% for women.

Until 1966, the University had its Rohtak, Shimla, and Jalandhar regional centers and the affiliated colleges of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, and the Chandigarh Union Territory. The University has become an inter-governmental body for the newly structured countries of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab, and the Union of Chandigarh with the reorganized operation of Punjab. The universities of Himachal and Haryana were gradually connected with universities in their respective countries and the affiliated colleges of Panjab University in Chandigarh’s Union Territory and parts of Punjab were gradually left with.
In addition to four independent chairs of research, the Chandigarh University Campus in Chandigarh hosts 73 teaching and research departments/institutes/centers. The Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak University, was established as a Residential University in 1976 with the purpose of supporting interdisciplinary higher education and research with a particular focus on environmental, environmental, and life science disciplines. Haryana is the region’s largest technical institute, the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. In 1963 the Institute began its activity at Kurukshetra Regional Engineering College. Also, this institution was a cooperative business of State and Central governments, as was the case with other Regional Engineering Colleges in India too. However, the Deemed University status of this Institute was granted on 26 June 2002. It has since been renamed the Kurukshetra national technical institute.
The Institute switched to a B.Tech. 4 years course which was effective from 1985 to 1986. Thus, the new courses have been named B. Tech. The B.Tech program currently accounts for 540 per year. From the 1982-83 session, Special three-year programs in civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering were initiated, labeled as ‘Bachelor of Engineering’ for in-service graduates. In 2000, however, the Haryana Govt. stopped these courses. In the 1983–84 section, the 2-year M.Sc. (Engg.) graduate courses were redesigned as M.Tech. graduate courses with effect. Courses now take 2 years to complete. Currently, the annual intake of M.Tech is 165.
During the 1987–88 session, the Institute launched a four-year B. Tech. Computer Engineering program with a participation of 30 students. Here, the Institute also established a full-time M.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering Degree degree with 13 students. From 1987 to 1988 the number of courses taken by B. Tech. Electronics and Communications Engineering was expanded from 30 to 60. In 1989-90, M. Tech. was a full-time graduate of the Department of Civil Engineering in Water Relations.
During its 2006-07 session the Institute offered a 2-year MBA program and 2 4-year B. Tech. IT and industrial engineering management graduate programs. The Institute began a three-year MCA program during its 2007-08 session. The 60 students participated in each of the recently established courses.
The Institute also offers advanced research opportunities in emergent fields of science and technology in addition to instructions in numerous disciplines of engineering and technology at the university and postgraduate level. So, in several fields of technology, the curricula and curricula are continually being updated to satisfy the expanding demands. Maharishi Markandeshwar University Trust (initially Maharishi Markandeshwar Education Trust), designed for the ‘Shaping Future’ objective, has developed the education system by creating Maharishi Markandeshwar at Sadopur-Ambala University, initially established with courses in the fields of engineering and technology and business management as an MM institutional group in 2010.
