M.Des Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for IIT and CEPT

M.Des Admission Process

Presently, the Master of Design Courses is being offered by institutes such as NIDs, NIFTs, CEPT, etc. Each of these institutes generally publishes an admission brochure with the details of the admission process. The following are the admission process of the National Institute of Design for the Master of Design Courses:

  • Each candidate should particularly get through the two stages of the DAT examination. The two stages i.e. DAT Prelims and DAT Mains are crucial stages of the M.Des admission process.
  • Then, the institute will publish a merit list based on these two stages. Moreover, the NIDs will conduct the M.Des admission process on this merit list.

NIFT Entrance Examination

National Institute of Fashion Technology or NIFT Entrance Examination is basically an entrance exam for the admission of M.Des. The purpose of this entrance test is to assess particularly the aptitude, skill and knowledge of the candidates. Indian Institute of Crafts and Design or IICD entrance exam is basically an exam for the admission of M.Des courses.
