BMLT: Eligibility Criteria

As mentioned earlier as well, admission to the BMLT course is completely on the basis of pure merit. Also, the merit or cut off list varies from college to college. Besides, in order to take admission to BMLT, a student must have a science background. Especially, the students must have studied Bio, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. The minimum percentage required in order to apply for this course is 50%. However, it is only applicable for applying and not for admissions.   • Firstly, the student must be 10+2 pass out with science stream to take admission in BMLT.
  • Students must have passed Biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects.

BMLT: Admission Process

BMLT admission process is completely online across all the Indian institutions. However, the students may also take offline BMLT admission in some selected universities. As stated earlier, BMLT admission is done on the basis of either merit or entrance exam, hence we are describing in detail the BMLT admission process for both the cases as below-

Merit-Based Admission

  • Certain universities and institutions do not hold any entrance examination for BMLT admission.
  • For example, Sikkim Manipal University, RN Tagore University, Guru Kashi University and a few more.
  • Therefore, students willing to take BMLT admission in such universities and institutions may simply visit their official websites.
  • Then they have to register for the BMLT admission using the login or new registration link appearing on the site.
  • Afterwards, the student needs to create a login Id and password and log in using the same.
  • Then, the online admission form will appear which the student will have to fill.
  • Also, in the admission form, the student will have to fill in his address, name of parents, his scores in 10th and 12th and some more pieces of such useful information.
  • Later on, once the student is registered, then they must have to be waiting for the university or institution to release the cut-off score for BMLT.
  • If the student is able to qualify for the cut-off, then their name will appear on the merit list and the university will call them for the counselling and interview sessions.

Entrance-Based Admission

  • Similarly, if the student is taking admission to a university that holds admission to the BMLT on an entrance basis, the student has to follow a similar process.

1. Manipal Entrance Test (MET)

Moreover, in order to apply for the admission to Manipal Academy BMLT course, the student needs to qualify 10+2 with PCB and arithmetic with a minimum of 50% score. 2. NEET (all over India)
