Screening of the application is the next step in the process. Hereby, all the documents are verified and matched by the University. In the case of merit-based admissions, there is a direct admission after the verification of documents in which the University sends an invite to the candidate. Moreover, candidates visit the campus according to their rank in the merit list.
Whereas, in the case of entrance-based exams, a date is announced on which an admit card is issued in the name of the candidate along with various details like, center, exam timings, identity, etc. Candidates are expected to give the entrance exam in online/offline mode however the university deems fit. Moreover, the aspirants are expected to reach on time and give their best as the result of this examination will determine their future in the respective university. The next step is an announcement of the result. Moreover, the merit list is based on the performance of candidates. Thus, displaying the name of the candidates selected.
Counseling and fee payment- The fee payment is done after getting shortlisted. Once the fee is confirmed, the admission process is complete.
Bachelor of library and science consists of 2 semesters. It is a minimum of a one-year course and a maximum of four years from the date of registration. 2 semesters comprise of 9 different subjects and a lot of assignments. Moreover, BLIS is a theory-based detailed course. Therefore, a lot of managing and categorizing knowledge is expected out of this course. Students find it easier to follow 2-semester patterns.
