The online test consists of objective and descriptive type tests. Also, the bank has the right to modify the structure of the test. Since April 1, 2020 Syndicate bank has merged with Canara Bank. Syndicate Bank PO examination pattern comprises of four sections
A descriptive test will be conducted after the completion of the online written examination. As already said, the descriptive test will examine candidates’ writing and also English skills. Generally, the candidates will have 60 minutes for the online preliminary examination computer-based exam. The exam has a set of 100 one-mark questions, every 100 multiple-choice questions holding each 1 mark. Candidates will also get a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers. It is a bilingual exam. Candidates can attend the exam in Hindi or English, but the English skill-related questions will be in English only.
