Along with the official recruitment announcement, the Staff Selection Commission also releases the SSC MTS syllabus for 2022. To increase their chances of success in the upcoming Multitasking exam, candidates must be familiar with the most recent SSC MTS syllabus.
There are three levels to the SSC MTS 2022 examination: Paper 1, PET/PST (only for havaldar), and Paper 2 (Descriptive Test). Paper 1 is an online multiple-choice, objective test that is given in both Hindi and English. Paper 2 is a pen and paper test that includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies. The candidate must complete a skill test known as Paper-III at their convenience.
This exam’s Paper II is qualifying in nature, so passing it is required, but the results are not used to determine the final merit listing. Only candidates who successfully pass the cut-off in Paper-I for each category set by the Commission will be allowed to take Paper-II.

The SSC MTS paper I Exam Pattern has 4 sections namely General English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence & Reasoning. The questions are MCQ types. In the SSC MTS paper 1will be bilingual. It means both English and Hindi languages will be used in this exam except the general English section. This paper is conducted in online mode.
In paper I, 100 questions carrying 1 mark each and negative marking for each wrong attempt is 0.25 marks. Un-attempted questions will not result in a mark deduction.
The total duration of the exam paper I is 90 minutes for the general aspirants but for the PWD candidates, the duration of the time is 120 minutes.
There will be distinct category- and State/UT-based cut-offs. For Paper-I, the Commission may establish separate cut-offs for each age group, category, and State/UT.
The “General Intelligence and Reasoning” section of the test will only include nonverbal questions given the responsibilities of the position. A typical matriculate will be able to answer questions on numerical aptitude and general English with ease because they are simple and of a level that is appropriate for them. There will also be general knowledge test questions of a similar caliber.

In this paper, the aspirants will have to answer only one question and the marks obtained in this paper will be qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in this section are designed to test the elementary language skills because of the categorization of the post as Group C and because of job requirements. This paper is conducted in offline mode.
The descriptive part of the SSC MTS Tier 2 exam will be administered on paper. The SSC MTS Tier 2 syllabus does not include any deductions for incorrect answers. The paper II will be given in Hindi, English, and other languages to assess candidates’ proficiency in fundamental language skills in line with the post’s required educational background. Candidates must compose one brief essay or letter.
The score of candidates in paper II will be used to determine merit list in case more than one candidate scored equivalent normalized marks in paper I.
These are the different languages that are available for paper 2 of this exam. It means a candidate can also give the exam of SSC MTS in these particular languages if they know very well.
