The Sikkim Police Hiring department conducts various exams every year. Sikkim Police exam pattern and syllabus are given as follows.

Mains Exam Syllabus. The Sikkim Police Exam Pattern

The candidates who qualify in the advance exam will appear for the mains exam.

It consists of 700 marks in total.

The name of the subjects and the marks allotted to all of them are the following.

  • General English which is for 100 marks.
  • The intelligence which is for 100 marks
  • Papers that have two optional subjects. This consists of 250 marks each so in total 500 marks.

Comprehension of given Passage Reasoning The paper is 250 marks total. The duration of the exam is two hours. It consists of questions based on the selected subjects.

Sikkim Police Exam Pattern

The Hiring

The Sikkim Police Hiring Exam has two exams. The advanced Exam and the Mains Exam. The advanced test is for 2 hours. The posts are lower than and equal to the constable posts. The other exams are for 4 hours. These exams are for the post higher than the Constable. The two hours test consists of Paper-I and Paper-II.

 

Paper-I and Paper-II

Both Paper-I and Paper-II have questions based on General knowledge, English, and mathematics routine. These can be prepared by following the current affairs and physical education of basic knowledge level.

Each paper is multiple choice-based. Once the exams are qualified, the students will have a physical test or a physical endurance test. In some posts after qualifying for the advance exam.

 

Physical fitness test

There’s also a fitness round where the physical fitness of the candidate is checked. The physical fitness test is very important. It is responsible for the selection and rejection of the student. Every student should keep all of these things in mind. The students should prepare themselves well for the exam. In conclusion, it is the most important exam for a student.

 

Test

The test has four levels. It has race, long jumps, high jumps, and shot put. It is conducted for 100 marks. After qualifying for the physical fitness test the student will appear in the Mains examination. The Mains examination is for a total of 700 marks. It has two main subjects and two optional subjects.

 

Sikkim Police exam Pattern. Main subject

The first main subject is the English language. This subject is for 100 marks. The second main subject is General knowledge. Similarly, this subject of 100 marks again. The two optional subjects are 250 marks for each subject.

 

The Duration

The duration of each subject is 2 hours. The questions are mainly on 10th standard knowledge only. The exam is conducted to make sure that the student can perform well under stressful situations. He can think according to the situation after thinking about the surrounding situations.
