The LIC ADO exam is conducted by the Life Insurance Corporation of India to recruit candidates as Apprentice Development Officers. The syllabus for the exam is set by LIC. The candidates who are willing to appear for the exam should have a basic knowledge of what syllabus will be asked in the exam. This knowledge will help them to prepare well and score high marks in the exam. LIC has conducted the ADO exam in 2019 and candidates preparing for the 2021 LIC ADO exam must refer to the LIC ADO Exam Pattern & Syllabus.
The candidates can get the exam notification from the official website LIC HOME. The LIC ADO notifications have been released zone wise and the number of vacancies varies for each region. The syllabus and the recruitment process are the same for Apprentice Development Officers across all the zones. The preliminary examination consists of basic subjects while, the mains examination syllabus is based on categories (LIC Agents, Open Market, and LIC Employees).
The LIC official notification will soon be released for the post of ADO. The candidates who are willing to join the Life Insurance industry can apply for the ADO post. It is not easy to clear the LIC ADO exam. Because the selection process consists of three phases i.e. Online Exam, Interview, and Medical Test. The Online exam includes two stages, the Preliminary exam and the Mains exam. There are 3 sections in the prelims exam
1.English language
2.Numerical Ability
3. Reasoning.

The candidates should go through the syllabus of each subject properly to crack the exam. Here, we have provided the syllabus of all the sections subject-wise to give a thorough understanding of the candidates. The syllabus mentioned is as per the previous year and it is expected to be the same this year. In case of any changes, it will be updated here.
The preliminary exam is conducted only for the Open market category candidates. The candidates participating in this exam have to give the test for 1 hour in the respective examination centers.
The subjects include English for 30 marks, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability, each for 35 marks.
The candidates who are giving their exam in Hindi will also have an English exam.
The Mains examination of LIC ADO is conducted for all categories that include LIC Agents, and LIC Employees. Excluding open market category candidates, all the other candidates can participate in the mains exam as the first phase.
The candidates have to give the test for 2 hours.

The LIC ADO exam pattern is an important thing to be known to all the candidates who are willing to appear for the LIC ADO exam 2021.
The LIC is yet to release the official notification of the LIC ADO 2021 examination on its official website homepage. Selection will be made on the basis of the online test followed by an Interview of candidates who qualify in the online test and subsequent pre-recruitment Medical examination.

The prelims exam is conducted only for the open Market category candidates. There is only one phase for LIC Agents and LIC Employees i.e., Mains exam.

The candidates who are qualified in the online exam will be allowed to sit in the interview round.
The interview is for 37 marks. It includes the questions of reasoning to check the thinking capabilities of the candidate.
The candidates who qualified in the interview round will be taken into medical test procedure. The final list of selected candidates in the examination will be released after the medical test.
The LIC ADO exam is a difficult exam & the syllabus given by LIC is also confusing. This leads the candidate to leave some important topics related to the exam. The candidate should note that they have to score minimum cut-off marks in every level to get the job. To clear the confusion, there are some recommended books which the candidates can prefer.
