This is an important point to be noted that candidates have to pass in each 3 sections by securing the minimum cut-off marks decided by the J&K Bank. An adequate number of candidates qualified in Prelims will be selected for the Mains exam depending on the requirements in the J&K Bank.
Candidates who get qualified in the prelim exam have to give the main exam for J&K Bank PO selection. So, Candidates should thoroughly prepare for the mains exam because it’s the final stage for the selection of candidates for Personal Interviews. Mains Exam consists of four sections. Candidates who qualify for the J&K PO Mains Exams are called for the Interview and this interview is the final stage for the selection of J&K Bank PO. Interviews are conducted in the selected centers and the interview venue, time, and date of the interview are informed to the candidates through call letters.
Allotted total marks for the interview is 100 and the minimum qualified marks for the interview is 40% for the General category and 35% for SC/ST/Socially and educationally backward class/PCP candidates). The ratio of online mains exams and interviews is 80:20. Candidates who can’t secure the minimum score will not be included in the further procedure of allotment in the Bank.
A Candidate applying for the J&K PO exam should qualify in both the main exam and interview and get a high score to be on the merit list for the selection process.
Four subjects are asked in the J&K PO exam. The preliminary and Main exam consists of four similar subjects which are English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability. But in mains there is one extra subject which is General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. Detailed knowledge of the syllabus will help the candidate to prepare better for the exam.
