The IBPS prepared a systematical Canara Bank PO syllabus on JMGS-1 for the objective Online test to get admission for the Post Graduation Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) Course. It is a one-year Training Course which includes nine months of Class studies and three months of Internship in various Bank Branches.
The Canara Bank PO Syllabus for the Online test for this recruitment exam has been dissected into four different sections to analyze the candidates’ skills specifically. According to the exam pattern, each section has equal weightage in the objective test.

The Aptitude section holds the Mathematical part of the Canara Bank PO Syllabus; it has twisted simple mathematic problems from various chapters given above to ensure the candidate’s mathematical abilities as it is the core for PO jobs in Banks. The G.A section is used to understand the ability to gather and update things like Surroundings, static News, Banking, Economic updates, etc. This also checks one’s knowledge of the Roles and Functions of Banking Officials, Institutions like NABARD. RBI, SIDBI, etc.

There is no peculiar syllabus for further process of Group Discussion and Personal Interviews.
However, the Candidate should be well trained with some skills to be efficacious in the Group Discussion (GD).

As the Canara Bank PO Recruitment exam is an online test, the Multiple Choice Questions or Fill in the blanks type questions are asked. The selected Candidates from this examination further get processed to the Group discussion (GD) round and Personal Interview. The Priority ratio for each selection process is notified by the Canara Bank. The Ratio is 50:20:30 for the Online Objective Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview respectively. So, the candidate must give more effort to the objective online test to get recruited for the PO post.
The Canara Bank PO 2021 online test equal number of questions from four different sections like Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension and General Awareness. There are 50 different questions from each section summing up to a total of 200 questions. The questions carry one mark each. The exam pattern Table consists of the Number of questions asked, Maximum marks, Mode of language in Section wise.
The candidate is asked to bring the admit card and a photo proof to the exam centre for the Online objective test.
Note: Negative marks of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

In Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview, 50 marks were allotted for each. The candidates who can acquire more than or equal to 40% on both processes are recruited. The maximum mark percentage for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates is not less than 35%. The rounding of marks is not done in these processes. Thus a 0.01% difference to the pass percentage could be neglected.
