The Arunachal Pradesh Police Department regularly holds exams to recruit bright individuals onto their team. While the recruitment process may seem daunting at first, the entire process is pretty straightforward. The Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment exam syllabus differs according to the post.
The entire selection process is divided into two major stages for the posts of:

Physical Standard Test or PST and Physical Efficiency Test or PET
The Physical Standard Test or PST requires the candidate to have a minimum of physical benchmarks to qualify for the test. The standard measurements are:
The minimum height for male candidates is 165cm for those belonging to the general category. However, it is 160 cm for those belonging to the APST category.
The minimum height for male candidates is 152 cm for those belonging to the districts of Tirap, Changlang, and Longding.
The minimum height for female candidates is 157 cm for those belonging to the general category. Meanwhile, it is 152 cm for those belonging to the APST category and those belong to the districts of Tirap, Changlang, and Longding.
The minimum chest measurements for male candidates are 79 cm when relaxed. Moreover, it should be 84 cm when expanded.
The Physical Efficiency or the Endurance Test requires successfully clear the following exercises.

It is to be noted that this test is only of qualifying nature. This means the marks a candidate scores in this test will not be added to the final merit list. However, failure to pass this stage will bar you from moving on to the next stage of the selection process.

2. Trade test – 100 marks
The second stage of the Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment is the Trade test. This test will only be taken by the candidates hoping to qualify for the posts of Constable IRBn Band/Bugle, H/C Driver, Constable Driver, etc.
3. Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.
The third stage of the Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment process are is a computer-based test. Further, the exam pattern differs according to the post applied for.

Apart from these three major stages, there are three other steps a qualified candidate must go through.
Appearance in the Merit list.
A Medical examination whereby a candidate shall be assigned a venue for an examiner to check if they have any underlying health issues that would bar them from entering the police force.
Character and Antecedent Verification to ensure a candidate has a proven and good track record.
There is also the provision for a sports quota. Thus, the Arunachal Pradesh Police Department has listed the following games which are admissible to apply for the mentioned quota.

The four subjects of the examination are

Each of these subjects is of 100 marks each. The Recruitment Board has specified that there will be marks deducted for each wrong answer. The marks deducted is ¼. At the same time, each question in the written exam is worth 2 marks.
To move on to the next stage of the recruitment process, a candidate must score a minimum of 33% in each subject and an aggregate percentage is 45%. If the candidate fails to achieve this minimum requirement, their application will be disqualified even if they have performed extremely well on the Physical Endurance or Physical Standard exams.

Theoretical Paper:
The Arunachal Pradesh Police Department has not yet released the ARUNPOL syllabus for this subject and will notify the concerned candidates at a later date.
However, since the theoretical paper is only taken by the candidates applying for the posts of H/C and Constable Drivers, the questions will be related to their area of expertise along with General Knowledge.
For the Trade Tests carrying 100 marks, the candidates are required to have Trade Qualifications. Additionally, they should have minimum years of experience in their areas of expertise.
