The Staff Selection Commission Multitasking Staff (SSC MTS) is a national-level exam for recruitment of personnel in General Group C Central Services for various non-ministerial and non-gazette posts in various ministries and departments of the Indian Government. It is conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission to fill the vacancies for posts like Peon, Gardener, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, etc. Candidates wishing to join the government at these posts need to clear the SSC MTS Exam first. From 05th July to 22nd July 2022, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has administered the SSC MTS tier 1 exam. The minimum cut-off mark must be achieved in order for candidates to be eligible for the Tier 2 exam. The SSC MTS cut-off mark is the minimal passing score needed for candidates to move on to Tier 2. Along with the results, the conducting body also announces the cut-off score.
In the second week of September 2022, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will publish the SSC MTS Result for the Tier 1 Exam on its official website, @ssc.nic.in. The SSC will publish a list of the roll numbers of candidates who qualified for the Tier 1 exam in PDF format, along with the SSC MTS cut-off scores and SSC MTS Score Card for 2022. All candidates will be able to access their SSC MTS Result 2022 by using the login information they received when registering. The candidates who successfully pass the SSC MTS Tier 1 will be eligible to take the SSC MTS Tier 2 Descriptive Test. The candidates declared successful in this result will be called for document verification. Take more than the minimum marks is mandatory for the candidate to be eligible for the exam result that will be released along with this Exam Result.
As per the official notification released on 22nd March, 2022:
Candidates can take the SSC MTS Tier 2 Descriptive Test if they pass the SSC MTS Tier 1 successfully. The Staff Selection Commission administered the SSC MTS Tier I exam from 05th July through 22nd July 2022. The qualified and unqualified candidates’ results will be published on the official website in September 2022. Important Note: The procedure to check the Tier 2 result is same as mentioned above. In case, a candidate remains unable to find his/her roll no/ name in the merit list. It means that they have not cleared the test.

The cut-off mark for the SSC MTS exam is the minimum score required to move on to Tier 2 of the selection process. The conducting body will also announce the cut-off score when the results are made public. The cut-off marks are presented in a PDF format, stage by stage and category by category. Candidates can view the SSC MTS cut-off by logging into their registered accounts with their registration IDs and the supplied passwords. In the second or third week of September, the outcome and cut-off are both anticipated to be made public.
It is an advice for the candidates to check the previous year’s cut-off while preparing for the upcoming exam. There are many factors that can affect the cut-off marks like difficulty of paper, no. of vacancy, no. of applicants, etc. Below are the cut off marks for the previous year’s exams:

In case there is a tie case of SSC MTS Exam result between two or more aspirants, the board will be taking some steps that are mentioned below:
In case, where more than one candidate secures equal aggregate marks, the decision of tie will come by applying the following methods one after another.
Following the completion of each exam stage, the SSC MTS result is released as follows:
Successful applicants who have submitted their SSC MTS application and paid the exam fee show up for paper I of the exam. The candidates’ normalized paper-I scores are used to calculate their merit.
Candidates who pass the first exam then show up for the second exam. The SSC MTS Paper II is merely a qualifying exam. Candidates from the unreserved category must score at least 40% and those from the reserved category must score at least 35% to pass the test. It should be noted that the marks earned in paper II are taken into account when determining the final SSC MTS merit list if the normalized marks earned by two or more candidates are equal.
After the release of the SSC MTS Exam Result, the board will then be releasing the final merit list:
After a month or so, the board will again announce the list of the few more aspirants who will be selected from a waiting list.
Candidates are shortlisted to appear for the document verification process based on how well they performed on papers I and II. Final consideration is given to candidates whose documents are discovered to be in order.
