The Registration, admit card release and Examination will be conducted on the dates that are to be announced. So, the candidates must know the procedures to see and download the results for JK SET 2021. The Cut-Off for Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test will be released after the termination of the examination. The qualification for the Assistant professor or lecturer job will be known after the publishing of the result. The result and the score/ mark sheet will be released separately by the University of Kashmir. The UOK will publish the notification regarding the results for JK SET 2021.

JK SET Exam Result

The results will be published after the release of the answer key, on the official website of the University of Kashmir. The Answer key will be published after the end of the examination. You can download the Answer key to check the scores and challenge/ object it. Later on, the University of Kashmir (UOK) will release the finalized answer key for JK SET 2021 on its website.

Steps to download Provisional Answer Key

Step1: Visit the website of the University of Kashmir.

Step2: Search for the “Answer key for JK SET 2021” or its relevant name link and click it.

Step3: You can see the subject-wise answer key displayed on the screen

Step4: click and download the answer key to look in detail.

Calculating the JK SET score

You can evaluate your papers using the Answer key released by the UOK. Each question from all papers weighs 2marks. Paper-I and paper-II have 50 questions each to attend whereas, Paper-III have 75 questions. Credit 2marks for every correct question and deduct zero marks, as there are no negative marks awarded for JK SET. Sum up to get the total.

Total Score= (number of correct answers in Paper-I x 2 marks) + (no of correct answers in Paper-II x 2 marks) + (no of correct answers in Paper-III x 2 marks)

You can also challenge the answer key if you doubt the answers in it, within a given period.

Way to challenge the Answer key

  • Gather the required documents supporting your objection.
  • The doubts in the Answer key must be explained
  • Submit these details and send an e-mail to jkset@uok.edu.in

The publishment of the Final Answer key will commence next.

JK SET Exam Result Information

The result date for JK SET 2021 has not been notified yet. The Result will be available in PDF form only. Save the result to your device. You can check the qualification details in the result published. The University of Kashmir will release the E-Certificate within 5-8 days after the publication of the result.

  • Visit the website of the University of Kashmir. Please click the link with the relevant name of “JK SET Results for 2021 PDF Download”.
  • Download it in PDF format if you want for future reference.
  • Now press the ctrl + F button on your keyboard.
  • Enter your enrollment number in the search box that appeared, to see your qualification details.

Qualified candidates can only avail the e-certificate online.

Steps to download for e-certificate

  • Open the website of the University of Kashmir
  • Click the “JK SET 2021 score” link under the announcement head.
  • Log in using the roll number and date of birth of the candidate.
  • Download the E-certificate in PDF format.

Acquire the Qualification certificate/ scorecard

The JK SET qualified candidates should apply to the University of Kashmir for the scorecard card. You have to send a certificate fee of Rs 500 as a Demand Draft with the eligibility certificates asked for verification.

Exam Cut Off Marks

The selection process for UGC NET and SET are similar. Only 6% of the total candidates who participated in the exam scores the minimum percentage of qualification gets selected. It is further divided on a category basis.

The initial minimum cut off score required for qualification are,

General/ Unreserved 40% 40% 50%
OBC/PwD/SC/ST (reserved) 35% 35% 35 percentage

The Cut Off for JK SET 2021 may vary due to certain factors.

Number of Candidates participating

The increase in participating candidates increases the competition for the exam. Thus, the Cut-Off will rise proportionally.

Number of candidates in selected subjects

If more candidates choose the same subjects of interest for a technical paper, the competition for the particular subject will rise.

The difficulty of the exam

Lower the difficulty, the higher cut-off. The difficulty level is indirectly proportional to the cut-off marks.

Category of the candidates

The cut-off marks depend on the number of candidates applied for every category. Rise or fall in numbers will change the cut-off to some extent.
