Application Form of UPSC CMS:

The application form of the UPSC Combined Medical Services is an online application form. Most importantly UPSC has released the application form link. The candidates can apply for this exam, and it has an application fee of 200 Rs for General Candidates. For female and reserved category (SC/ST/PwD) candidates, the application fees are exempted.

Admit Card for UPSC CMS Exam 2022:

Generally, the admit card for the UPSC CMS Exam is released 3 weeks before the exam. Moreover, there is a separate admit card for the Written test and Interview. The download link for UPSC CMS 2022 exam will be published from 24th June 2022 till the exam date i.e. 17th July 2022 for candidates appearing in the exam to download and print the admit card in order to carry it along with them on the exam date in order to allow them to appear for the exam.

The result of the UPSC CMS exam is declared on the official website of the UPSC. This result is calculated based on the written test and interview. The candidates who have completed their MBBS or who are in the final year of MBBS can apply for the UPSC CMS exam. The candidates must clear both stages of the exam. Firstly, a written test that consists of objective questions, and secondly the Personality test or Interview.

Q.1 How many seats are there in UPSC CMS?

Q.2 Who can apply for UPSC CMS?

Ans. In order to be eligible for the UPSC CMS test, MBBS students must have passed their final written examinations, be scheduled to sit in the MBBS final examination, or have already done so. Candidates for the UPSC CMS exam must be Indian citizens, residents of Nepal or Bhutan, Tibetans who entered India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling there, or immigrants from Vietnam, Pakistan, Burma, or East African nations such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, or Ethiopia with the intention of settling permanently in India.

As of August 1, 2022, the candidate for the open category shall not be older than 32. Candidates who fall under the SC/ST category, are residents of J&K, are ex-servicemen, or have served in the military for more than five years may have their ages eased by five, bringing their maximum age down to 37. Candidates who fall under the OBC category or who were handicapped while serving in the military are given a three-year age relaxation. Age restrictions for general category physically disabled candidates taking the UPSC CMS test are 10 years.

Q.3 What is the UPSC CMS exam scheduled?

Ans. The UPSC CMS test for the year 2022 was set for July 17, 2022. On the test day, there will be two papers, each worth 250 points. Candidates who pass these two exams will be called to an interview or personality test at a later time. The candidate’s performance on the two exams and the personality interview will determine how well they do in the UPSC CMS test.

Q.4 Where is the interview of UPSC CMS conducted?

Ans. The personal interviews for candidates who appeared UPSC CMS exam are conducted at Dholpur House, New Delhi on the scheduled date by UPSC. The candidates will be selected by UPSC exam authorities based on their score in two papers conducted on 17th July 2022 by UPSC CMS 2022 exam.

Q.5 How many times an SC candidate can apply for the UPSC CMS Examination

Ans. Reservation is made for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories in respect of vacancies as may be fixed by the Government. Provided they otherwise fulfill other eligibility criteria. Reservation is, A SC/ST candidate is considered against SC/ST vacancies only if he/she possesses a valid caste certificate. However, such SC/ST candidates can always compete for the unreserved vacancies provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria of General category. Candidates from the Scheduled Cast category can apply for the UPSC CMS examination till the age of 37 years. The age relaxed for SC candidates is 5 years and maximum age limit for general category candidate is 32 years.

Ans. MBBS students who have cleared their final written exams or who is going to appear or have appeared in the final examination of MBBS can also apply for this exam are eligible for UPSC CMS exam.
