Important Details about the Exam

There is no entry for candidates without the admit card of the exam. The admit card acts as a gateway to the test centre the board has allotted. Every candidate must remember that the admit card is available for download one week before the exam.

  • Keep checking the RRB website
  • Login into their accounts using credentials
  • Download the admit card and get two to three copies of it
  • Don’t forget to take the copies to the exam centre
  • Must have spare copies in case you lose one copy of the admit card
  • Reach the exam centre 15 minutes before the start of the exam.

RRB Group D Exam Notification

Candidates must make solid pre-plans for the preparation of the exam. For scoring high, they need to give proper time to every section.

As per the weightage of every part, applicants should start with the section they are weak at. For instance, if you are weak at Maths, you must give your maximum attention to the Maths segment.

The test is for 100 marks. Every candidate will get 90 minutes to solve all 100 questions. There is a negative marking of 1/3 for every incorrect reply.

Following are the qualifying marks candidates must check:

  • 40% for unreserved students
  • 40% for students from an economically weak background
  • 30% for OBC students
  • 30% each for SC & ST students

Candidates have to match the cut off of the exam for moving onto the next round. These marks do not count during the selection process. Therefore, you better score really high to get eligible for PET.
