APSC Exam Dates and Notification

Here, we are going to discuss the important dates, latest news and notification released regarding APSC CCE and the date of the exam. We are going to discuss in depth about the various notifications released in the website and how you should act towards them. You need to make sure that you keep checking the official APSC website in case any new notification has been released since there is a lot of uncertainty these days.


Important dates of APSC

The Assam Public Service Commission declared the official dates of the APSC CCE Preliminary exam. It is expected to release the date of the Mains Exam any time soon.

The website have released some of the important dates related to APSC CCE. Currently, according to the latest information updated in the APSC website, following tentative dates are available:-

Details regarding the second and third phases of the exam in 2022 are still unavailable. It will be reflected here as the dates are announced. However, till then one can conjecture the time gaps seeing the details of the 2021 exam mentioned ahead in the description.

These were all the important dates regarding the APSC CCE. However, you need to check the website daily in case there is any change or update in the important dates. The dates keep constantly being updated because of the pandemic situation. There might be regular updates, so be aware of them.

Notifications regarding APSC 2021

There are notifications almost regularly being updated in the APSC CCE website. You can go to the official website and check for the latest notification in the notification panel which is present in the top left corner of the screen. Upon clicking on it, all the latest notifications of all the exams conducted by APSC will be displayed upon the screen. The Notifications related to CCE are highlighted in blue, so that you can easily spot them.


Here is the list of latest notifications released with respect to APSC CCE:-

  • Notification dated 27th July, 2021

The notification was regarding the date of the prelims exam which is 12th September, 2021 on a Sunday. The notification also consists of the details like the districts in which the exam centres are present which are Barpeta, Biswanath Chariali, Bongaigaon, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Goalpara, Golaghat, Halflong, Hamren, Hatsingimari, Hojai, Jorhat, Kajalgaon, Karimgdnj, Kokrajhar, Majuli, Mangaldoi, Morigaon, Mushalpur, Nagaon, Nalbari, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Sivsagar, Sonari, Tezpur, Tinsukia, Udalguri and Guwahati. The important instructions are also there in the notification which you will have to follow on exam day. Make sure you read all the instructions carefully in order to be prepared  on the day of exam.

  • Notification dated 29th July, 2021

This notification consists of the list of the selected applicants. The notification has the list of the selected candidates. The candidates can check out their names in the list. In case of rejection, they can appeal against the rejection within a week.

  • Notification dated 10th August 2021

This notification is specifically for the PWBD candidates. It is to inform the PWBD candidates that if they want a scribe for them, they have to apply within 17th August and in case they are going to appoint their own scribe, they have to provide all the necessary information of the scribe before 30th August, 2021.

  • Notification dated 12th August, 2021

The notification contains the details of the Prelims Exam which is on 12th September, 2021. You must be aware of all the details if you are going to appear for the exam. This notification has the details like exam date, timing, subject and duration.

  • Notification dated 26th August,2021

This notification continues the notification of 10th August.  The notification states that the PWBD candidates, have to apply for the scribe urgently before 31st August. It might later be a problem if not done so.


APSC Exam Date

The exam date of APSC CCE is 12th September, 2021. The exam will is in 2 shifts. The first shift will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for the General Studies 1. The second shift will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm which will be for General Studies 2.

What are the shifts of APSC CCE?

There are two shifts for the APSC CCE, from 10 to 12 and from 2 to 4.

What is the latest date for PWBD candidates to apply for scribes?

As per the latest notification, the last date for PWBD candidates to apply for scribe to the Commission is 30th August, 2021. The PWBD candidates have to do it urgently do it or it might cause problem in the day of exam.

Is there a last date to download the admit card?

The last date to download the admit card is the date of the examination. However, you must download and print the admit card in order to avoid any last minute inconveniences which might interfere in the exam.

Is there an official announcement of the date of APSC CCE?

No, there is no official announcement yet from APSC regarding the date of APSC CCE exam. The update is present in the website so make sure you keep checking it.
