UPSC CMSE 2023: How to Download Admit Card?

Candidates who wish to obtain Admit Card for CMS UPSC 2022 exam should follow the steps given below to download and print Admit Card. . The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available in the UPSC website for downloading by candidates. No Admit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid and active Email i.d. while filling up Online Application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.

  1. Candidates must download the Admit Card from the official website of the Union Public Service Commission
  2. Look for e-Admit Card  for various examinations of UPSC
  3. Check the exam – Combined Medical Services Exam
  4. Click on DOWNLOAD link,
  5. Select either Registration ID or Roll Number radio button
  6. Enter the number based on your selection
  7. Download Admit Card and take its printout for future reference.

Documents to Carry Along with the UPSC CMS Admit Card

Along with the Admit Card candidates have to take some documents with them to the exam center. Below are all those documents:

  1. Aadhaar Card
  2. Voter Card
  3. PAN Card
  4. Passport
  5. Driving License
  6. Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government.

Important Things to Remember for Admit Card

  1. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination.
  2. No Admit Card will be sent by post. For Downloading the e-Admit Card the candidate must have his/her vital parameters like RID & Date of Birth or Roll No. (if received) & date of birth or name, father’s name & Date of Birth available with him/her.
  3. If a candidate does not receive his/her e-Admit Card or any other communication regarding his/her candidature for the examination three weeks before the commencement of the examination, he/she should at once contact the Commission..
  4. The e-Admit Card for the UPSC Combined Medical Service examination will be available on the official website of the UPSC.
  5. Candidates have to provide a valid mail id for the e- Admit Card.
  6. It is mandatory to carry and show the Admit Card if asked at the examination center.
  7. Candidates have to carry one of the photo identity documents as proof of identity.
  8. The mere fact that an e-Admit Card to the Examination has been issued to a candidate, will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission or that entries made by the candidate in his/her application for the examination have been accepted by the Commission as true and correct.
  9. Candidates may note that the Commission takes up the verification of eligibility conditions of a candidate, with reference to original documents, only after the candidate has qualified for interview/Personality Test on the results of the Written Examination. Unless candidature is formally confirmed by the Commission, it continues to be provisional.

UPSC CMSE 2023:  Interview Call Letter

UPSC will release the interview date after the written test. It has two shifts. Before the interview, the successful candidates will get their Interview call letter. Along with the interview call letter, there are some important documents that the candidates have to carry during the interview. Below are the important documents for the interview:

  1. Educational Qualification Certificate
  2. Age Certificate
  3. A certificate showing the category of candidate if they belong to a Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe, Weaker section economically, or Other Backward Classes.
  4. A certificate that supports your Benchmark Disability.
  5. Mark sheets of Written Exam
  6. Interview call letter
  7. Passport size photograph.

The interview is the last round of the selection. There is a 50 % chance of selection for the candidates who qualified in the written test.

Q.1 Is UPSC Admit Card out?

Ans. UPSC CMS exam 2022 Admit Card download link has already been declared and been available for candidates appearing for CMS exams on their official website (upsconline.nic.in), since 26th June 2022.

UPSC conducts various exams online and offline for the candidates who wish to work for Indian administrative services, Indian Foreign Services, Indian Police services (UPSC CSAT exam), Medical officer in Indian Railways, Indian Ordinance factories, New Delhi municipal council (CMSE exam), etc. They publish notifications about the registration, filling out the application, downloading Admit Card, date of exam, and results for various exams based on their expected dates on regular basis.

Q.2 Is UPSC CMS 2022 Admit Card released?

Ans. UPSC CMS exam 2022 Admit Card download link has already been declared and is available for candidates appearing for CMS exams on their official website (upsconline.nic.in), since 26th June 2022 for the CMS exam scheduled on 17th July 2022. Candidates can download and take a printout of Admit Card by visiting the official website mentioned above until the day of the exam i.e., 17th July 2022.

Q.3 Where can I download UPSC Admit Card?

Ans. Candidates appearing for UPSC CMS exam can download the UPSC CMS Exam Admit Card in the following steps. Visit UPSC official website – upsconline.nic.in and go to e-Admit Card for various examination sections. Check for the Combined Medical Services exam, Click on the download link. Select either Registration ID or Roll number and enter respective details. Click on the download link for Admit Card and take a printout of the Admit Card.

Q.4 Is the UPSC CMS exam online or offline?

Ans. The Combined Medical Services Examination conducted by UPSC is an online written examination. The exam has two papers for two hours each and is of 250 marks and will be conducted on the same day i.e., 17th July 2022.

Q.5 What do we have to carry on the examination date of the UPSC CMS?

Ans. Candidates have to carry an e-Admit Card printout to appear in the UPSC CMS exam center on the date of the examAlong with the Admit Card candidates have to take some documents with them to the exam center. Below are all those documents:

Q.6 My Photograph is not clear on my Admit Card for UPSC CMS Exam, what should I do?

Ans. In the scenario where Candidate’s photograph on the e-Admit Card is not clear for the CMS exam. The UPSC has said in the circular that candidate will have to bring with them a proof of identity such as Aadhar card, Driving license, Passport or Voter’s ID card and two passport sized photos – one for each session of the exam – i.e., Paper I and Paper II that the candidate will be appearing in.

Q.7 How will we get the Admit Card?

Ans. The Admit Card download link will be on UPSC official website (upsconline.nic.in) and enter their registration number or roll number to download Admit card. The Candidates appearing for UPSC CMS exam will be required to bring Admit Card printout with them along with photo identity cards such as Aadhar card, Driving license, Passport, or Voter’s i-card.

Q.8 What to do if I forgot the login credentials for downloading UPSC CMS Admit Card? 

Ans. Candidates who have forgotten their login credentials should start by visiting the UPSC official website. Click on the e-Admit Card link/section from the welcome page, select the exam name (Combined Medical Services exam), and click on a link to download the e-Admit Card showing option to select Registration ID or Roll Number. Click on Forgot RID. The candidate will have to enter the name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth, enter captcha & click on submit button. The registration number will be generated by the system. The candidate can then select registration number option, enter the number, and download the UPSC CMS Admit Card.
