WB JECA Attempts

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board conducts the WB JECA exam each year.  Candidates can give this exam several times. There is no limit to giving this exam. For example, if a candidate fails in the first attempt he or she can try again. Unsuccessful candidates can give this exam next year. The candidate can appear multiple times. • Candidates must be a citizen of India.  The candidate must be native to the state of West Bengal. The candidate can be of any age.  The upper and lower age limit is not specified by the board.
• The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree of three years with maths as a major subject.  Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or school with maths as a major subject.
• Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized university or institute.
• The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% for the general category.
• The candidate must have scored a minimum of 45% for the reserved category.
• Candidates must have scored 60% in maths.
• The UGC recognized degree in BCA, B.Tech, B.E with a minimum of 60%.
• The UGC recognized degree in B.Sc with a minimum of 60%.
• Candidates must have scored 60% in maths at 10th level and 10+2 level.

 

WB JECA Application Form

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board released the online application form on the official website.  The board released the application form on 11th May 2021.  The board gave a time of two weeks to complete the registration process.  The last date to apply online for WB JECA was 25th May 2021.  Candidates need to fill the application form within the time limit.  No extra time will be given to complete the registration.  Candidates who complete the registration can proceed with the payment.  Those who fail to complete the registration cannot appear in the exam.  Online registration is compulsory to appear for the exam.  Candidates must check their eligibility before filling the application form. WB JECA Registration Process

The application process started on 11th May 2021. Candidates need to fill the online form.  The application process will be online.  Candidates need to fill the online application form before the last date.  The last date to fill the online application form has been released.  The last date to fill the form is 25th May 2021.  Candidates must fill the online application form before the last date.  There will be more traffic on the last date, the server may work slower than normal.  Late entries will not be entertained by the board.

The board allocates exam center before conducting the exam to each candidate.  Candidates who have completed the registration will get exam center to appear for the exam.  As WB JECA is a state level entrance exam, the exam center will be allocated in the cities of West Bengal.  Aspiring candidates must choose the exam center during the registration.  Candidates are advised to choose the near exam center. WB JECA Important Documents

Candidates need to submit a few documents during the registration.  Candidates must submit the recent photo in the online form.  The signature of the candidate is compulsory for registration.  Candidates need to submit a scanned photo of their left-hand thumb.  All the documents need to be scanned in jpeg format.  Candidates must submit the documents in their respective sizes.  Candidates make sure that the photo is completely visible.  Applications with blur photos will face rejection.  The quality of each document should be good.  The low-quality document will be rejected by the board.

WB JECA Application Fee

After filling the form, candidates have to submit the online application fee.  The application fee is compulsory for every candidate.  Candidates who fail in submitting the application fee will not be able to appear in the exam.  Candidates can submit the fee online.  Offline mode is not available for fee submission.

Form Correction

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board has allowed candidates to correct the application form. Candidates who unwillingly fill in the wrong details can correct it.  Candidates can make corrections to their photos and signature. Aspiring candidates make sure that their photos should be clear. They should also upload the signature in the given format. The signature of the candidate should be visible. Applications with blur photos and signatures will face rejection.

WB JECA Exam Pattern

Candidates will get a time of three hours to complete the exam.  The WB JECA exam will have two papers.  The first paper will be held in the morning and the second paper will be held in the afternoon.  In the first paper, candidates will get two hours and in the second paper, candidates will get one hour.  The first paper will be on mathematics.  The first paper will have 100 questions.  The second paper will be of aptitude test.  The second paper will have 50 questions.  Candidates have to appear offline for both exams.  Each candidate will get an OMR sheet to answer the questions.

The question paper will have multiple-choice questions.  Each question will have four options.  Candidates have to choose the right answer among the given options.  There will be negative marking for giving the wrong answers.  Negative marks will be rewarded for giving wrong answers.  Candidates need to be careful before giving the answers.  One wrong answer will cut 0.25 marks.

WB JECA Syllabus

Candidates must study the relevant topics. Do not study the topics that are not relevant to the syllabus. By carefully checking the syllabus, candidates will be able to under the nature of questions. WB JECA Exam Dates

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board conducted the WB JECA exam on 28th August 2021.  The exam was conducted in two phases.  The first phase of the exam was conducted from 11:00 AM to 1:00 Noon.  The second phase of the exam was conducted on the same day from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.  Aspiring candidates have to appear for both exams.  Candidates failing to appear in any of the phases will face rejection.

WB JECA Admit Card

After the completion of the registration process, the board releases the admit cards of the candidates.  The board releases the admit card on the official website. Candidates will get admit cards online mode. Candidates will get their respective admit cards via email. Admit cards will be available few days before the exam. Admit cards will be available online. There is no other mode to get the admit card.  The board issued admit cards to registered candidates.  The board issued admit card for the WB JECA exam a few days before the conduction of the exam.  The WB JECA exam was conducted on 28th August 2021.  The board released the admit card on 24th August 2021.  The admit card was available for four days from 24th to 28th August on the official website.

WB JECA Result

After the conclusion of the entrance exam, the board will release the result of the candidates.  The board will release the result of the candidates on the official website.
