About The Conducting Body

  • On 29/08/2021, The Link for the downloading of the admit cards for the coming various examinations is available on the official website of the OJEE.
  • On 29/08/2021, The link was uploaded on the website by the name of Mock test. Where the registered aspirants can prepare by doing an online practice of the examinations.
  • Links for Admit Cards along with the  Mock Test for Bachelor of technology. The course shall be active by 6th Sept.
  • Due to the Covid-19, The OJEE will now be conducted from the 6th of September to the 18th of September. The exam will be held in Online mode through the CBT method in three shifts a day.
  • The scheme of the examination from the 6th of September was released on 13/08/2021.
  • The last date for the submission of the application of the B.Tech form was changed to 17/08/2021.
  • The fee payment date for the application form was postponed to 18/08/2021.
  • The Instruction notice for the B.Tech form was released.
  • The Information Brochure for 2021 was released on the official website of the OJEE.

Application Fee

The Application fee is something for which every aspirant wishes that it should be low. The OJEE does not have any fees for the application forms. The fees for the different forms and other things are different for the aspirants of the different sections. Such as the fee for the general, ST, SC, etc are different. We will see that in detail

The fee for the application of the various forms such as A, B, C as well as D is 1000 whereas the application fee for the form of category E is 1500.

Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility criteria are something that an aspirant shall fulfill to get his or her application form as well as the admission requirement completed. Moreover, The Eligibility criteria are certain terms and conditions which an aspirant shall be having or shall be fulfilled by them. Not following the Eligibility criteria will result in the rejection of the aspirant’s application form followed by the admission.

The main eligibility criteria which every aspirant shall follow is that he or she shall have a passing certificate from a well-recognized university for getting admission in the different courses of the OJEE.

The Eligibility criteria for the different courses are as follows

 

Age

Age is something that every aspirant needs to fulfill. Aspirants trying for the different courses need to fulfill different age criteria. Not fulfilling the age criteria cancels the aspirant’s candidature. Along with this, The application fee shall also not be refunded.

Below is the stream-wise age details of the aspirants

 

B.Tech

Most of the aspirants who want to take admission in the B.Tech are just 12th pass out. The age criteria for the aspirants who want to take admission in the Bachelor’s Of Technology is nil.

This means that there is no age limit for the aspirants who want to get admission in the B.Tech.

There is an exceptional case for the aspirants who want to take admission in the B.tech Marine.

In The B.Tech Marine, The age limit for the aspirants of the B.Tech Marine is 22 years.

 

B.Pharma

Pharmacy is the line related to the medical field. So, the age limit factor is very important. However, The age limit in the B.Pharma is null. This means that there is no factor in the age limit.

 

Diploma

The diploma is such a course which an aspirant can either do after high school or Intermediate. However, The age limit factor in the OJEE is that there is no age limit.

 

BHMS

In the BHMS, The age criteria are different from the other. The age criteria for the aspirant of the BAHM is that the lower limit of the aspirants shall be at least 17 years. However, The aspirants will need to provide the age certificate as well.

This rule is the same for the aspirants of the BAMS as well.

Overall, there is no such age limit factor associated with the aspirants who are applying for the courses such as MBA, M.PHARM, MCA, BSc, etc.

However, The aspirants shall also check the guideline module of the eligibility criteria of the concerned course.

 

Educational Qualification Criteria

For getting admission into any course of any college or institution, The one thing which matters most is that the aspirants need to fulfill the educational qualification criteria.

Some of the courses in which the educational criteria are required in OJEE are

 

Bachelor’s Degree

Anyone interested to appear in the OJEE shall have a passing certificate of the Intermediate (12th). It should be from a well-recognized board. The special subject criteria are different for the different courses. Such as for the B.Tech, The subject specialization is Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). Anyone failing to fulfill the criteria shall be barred from appearing in the OJEE.

 

BHMS

The candidate who is appearing shall have a passing certificate of the intermediate from Odisha. The SC\ST aspirants need 40% of the marks. And the general aspirants needs 50% marks at least.

The above criteria will also be the same for the aspirants of the BAMS.

 

B.Pharma

The aspirant shall have a passing certificate. That too  from a well-recognized university or institution of Odisha. Physics, chemistry and biology are important chapters. Along with this, The candidate should have opted for Mathematics, Biotechnology, etc.

However, The aggregate marks for the general aspirant are 45%. And the aspirants of SC/ST, OBC, etc need 40%.

 

B.Tech Marine Engineering

B.Tech marine engineering has special requirements. The educational requirements for the aspirants of B.Tech Marine Engineering are that. They need to have 60% marks in the first-year Engineering. The College should have approval from the AICTE.

 

List Of Qualifying Exams

There are qualifying examinations. These an aspirant needs to have before taking admission or applying for the OJEE. We shall discuss that below.

 

B. Pharma

In The B.Pharma, The aspirant needs to have 10+2 from the science. That too from a well-recognized board or Institution. The compulsory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Along with subjects such as electronic, Science, Computer, vocational subjects, etc.

The aggregate mark for the general category is 45%. However, The aggregate mark for the SC/ST is 40%.

B. Planning

Planning is a course that requires good knowledge. The aspirants shall have a pass certificate of 10+2 from a well-recognized board. The subjects which the aspirant shall have are Physics, Mathematics. The aspirant shall also have one more subject from the given. These are Biology, Chemistry, Statistics, etc.

The aggregate mark for the general category is 45%. However, The aggregate mark for the SC/ST is 40%.

 

Registration Process

For applying for any examination, The aspirant should know about the registration procedure of the form. The registration procedure is the first step for applying to the OJEE. If the registration procedure is wrong, The candidature will be rejected. Therefore, It is very important to discuss the registration procedure.

However, Some pieces of information about the application form are –

  • You can fill the form from 14th April to 30th July.
  • Aspirants can fill only one application form at a time.
  • An incomplete form will result in the cancelation of the candidatures of the aspirant.
  • The correction window is open from 27th July 2021 to 17th August 2021.

 

Procedure for the Registration

  • Firstly, Visit the Official website of the OJEE.
  • There, Click on the application form section.
  • After that, You will see 6 different form sections. For example A, B, C, D, E, and F. You will have to select your form according to your stream.
  • Further, You will have to fill in the details which are required.
  • Once you will fill in your details. The confirmation message will pop up on your registered mail.
  • Login to your account using the details you filled in.
  • After you log in, You will have to fill in your education as well as personal details.
  • Moreover, You will have to upload the scanned signature followed by the photograph along with the left-hand thumb impression.
  • Cross-check the details filled by you and verify those.
  • However, After the verification, You will have to pay the application fee in online mode.
  • Once the fee is submitted, Your form is filled.
  • Take out the printout for future reference.

Note-

  • The size of the photograph shall be from 5 kb to 99 kb.
  • The size of the thumb impression and signature should be between 5 kb to 50 kb.
