About NIPER JEE and NIPER JEE Conducting Authority
The NIPER Joint Entrance Test (NIPER JEE) is a computer-based exam. NIPER JEE is held each year for admission to postgraduate pharmacy programs. There are various pharmacy programs such as MPharm, MTech (Pharm), MBA (Pharm). In addition to the master’s program, there are Ph.D. programs as well. NIPER JEE Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the required eligibility criteria to sit in the NIPER JEE exam. The eligibility criteria are set by the NIPER exam authority. Master’s Programs:
Qualifying Exam: The qualifying degree for M.S. (Pharm.)/M.Pharm./M.Tech. (Pharm.) is as follows-
- B.Pharm. or M.Sc. (Biological Sciences)
- M.Sc. (Organic/Analytical Chemistry/Life Sciences/Botany)
- B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent)
- B.V.Sc. or M.B.B.S. in addition to BAMS.
Minimum Marks: Candidates should gain a minimum of 60% in aggregate In the qualifying exam.
However, The minimum qualifying exam score for SC/ST candidates is 55 percent. Furthermore, The minimum score for Physically Handicapped candidates is 50%.
Candidates in their final year of study are also eligible to apply. However, it is important to have the final mark sheet at the time of counseling.
Eligibility For Pharmacy Ph.D. Courses:
M.S.(Pharm.)/M.Pharm/M.Tech.(Pharm.) in relevant discipline.
Minimum Marks: Candidates must pass the qualifying exam with a score of at least 60%. However, the qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates are 55%. Furthermore, for PH candidates the marks are 50%.
Another key point is that candidates should have a valid GATE or NET or GPAT score.
