About MET and Exam Conducting Authority

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts its own online entrance exam to offer admissions to candidates in the programs that it has on offer. Candidates can secure admissions in courses provided at Manipal University on the basis of their rank/score in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET).

MET 2021 is a university-level entrance exam conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) annually for admitting candidates to various UG and PG degree programs at the university. As per MET 2021 selection criteria, 40% of the marks in the qualifying exam (Class 12th) and 60% marks obtained in MET are considered for admission.

MET Notification

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will release the MET 2022 exam dates in the official notification. So, It is recommended that applicants stay up to speed on the MET exam dates 2022. Application form, MET admission card date, slot booking, and other exam dates are included in the MET 2022 exam schedule. For admission to Manipal University’s multiple campuses, the MET exam is held. Candidates should read the article below for more information on the MET exam dates in 2022.

 

MET Eligibility Criteria

So, If you want to apply for MET 2022, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

BTech Courses – Pass 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects, with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the optional subjects.

Lateral BTech – 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by a State Government Board of Technical Examinations or BSc Degree from a recognized University with at least 45 per cent marks and Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject.

 

MET Registration

To apply for MET 2021, candidates must go to manipal.edu and fill out an application form. The issued password must be kept private in order to log into the secure booking platform online in the future.

To complete MET Registration, there are three major steps. These are their names:

 

Step 1: Filling in Basic Information

Candidates must ‘Register to Apply’ in this step. They must fill in the following information:

• Personal information: Full name, gender, email address, date of birth, parents’ information, and so on.
• Course & Category: Candidate’s category, Course, Program and Stream.
• Location: Choose a country, state, city, and enter your zip code before choosing a nationality.

Note: All fields are required. Before moving on to the next step, double-check all of the details.

 

Step 2: Uploading of Photo and Signature

Candidates must provide the following information during this step:

• Qualification in Education: Current Institute information, School Name, Qualifying Exam, Board/University, Year of Passing, and so on.
• Uploading of the candidate’s photo and signature

 

Important Notes Regarding the Photo and Signature:

• A recent passport-sized photograph with a light background is required (preferably white).
• The test taker must sign on white paper with a black/blue pen.

Following that, applicants must carefully read the declaration and select the ‘I AGREE’ tab.

 

Step 3: Programs and Payment

Candidates must choose a program and enter their address here. Choose your preferred method of payment. The following is a synopsis of the situation:

 

Payment of the Application Fee

• The application fee is INR 600, and the entrance exam fee is INR 1400.
• PayTM, credit card/debit card, or net banking can be used to pay the application fee.
• Payment can also be made by DD made payable to “Manipal Academy of Higher Education” and payable in Manipal or Udupi.
• Candidates who pay the application fee by DD must send a print copy of the completed application form along with the DD to the following address:

MET Syllabus

MET Admit Card

The admit card or e-hall ticket will only be available for download from manipal.edu. The document will not be sent by postal service, fax, or any other means. The following are the steps to downloading the document:

Firstly, visit the MET’s official website.

Secondly, enter the MET Application Number and Password that are emailed to the registered ID.

Then, select the ‘Login’ option.

Lastly, check and download the hall ticket

Also, It should be saved for future correspondence.

 

MAHE MET Admit Card was available after the slot booking of the candidates. Candidates can check the important information related to Manipal Entrance Test 2022 Admit card:

• MET Hall Ticket is released after 24 hours of the slot booking.
• So, Candidates can download the admit card from the official website itself.
• Also, A soft copy of the admit card emailed to the registered email is of the candidates.
• The candidates need to bring one hard copy of the admit card and one valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Voter ID card, Passport) on the day of the examination.
• After downloading the admit card, candidates should check all the details printed on the admit card should be correct.

MET Result

The institute has released the results of MET 2021 in online mode on the official website soon. The result is in the form of scorecards mentioning the marks which candidates secured in the exam. The institute has also released a merit list based on the score that candidates obtained. Admission to the institute will be on the basis of the merit list. To check the MET result, students have to log in using their registration ID and password.
