Why KU – Kakatiya University?
The Kakatiya University was founded on August 19, 1976. it was set up to meet the aspirations of the Telangana people for higher education. It is located in Warangal, a historical city that was once the seat of the Kakatiya monarchs. The University’s foundation was a momentous event that marked the beginning of a new era in the region’s higher education. The former Osmania University Post-Graduate Centre has been refurbished and renamed Kakatiya University. The institution began as a PG Centre Warangal under the auspices of Osmania University in 1968, with only four departments: Telugu, English, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

As of now, no notification has been released by KU for PGCET, however, the tentative date is September 2021.
KU PGCET Eligibility Criteria
To sit for the KUPGCET 2021 exam, candidates must meet the university’s eligibility requirements. Each course’s eligibility requirements may differ from the others.
The following are the basic KUPGCET eligibility criteria for 2021:
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen. Along with it, he/she must be a Telangana resident and meet the local/non-local requirements established by the Telangana State Education Institution.
- Aspirants should have earned their bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Students in the General category should have received at least a 50% in their graduation. However, Candidates for the reserved category must have obtained a minimum of 45 percent.

M.Sc Botany
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in botany from a recognized university. Candidates appearing from the general category need a minimum of 45%. However, SC/ST categories need comparatively 40% in the concerned subject.
PG Diploma in Sericulture
Candidate must have persuaded BSc with Zoology, Botany, or Chemistry from a recognized university. Candidates appearing from the general category need a minimum of 45%. However, SC/ST categories need comparatively 40% in the concerned subject. On the other hand, candidates persuaded by BSc Agriculture from Kakatiya University are eligible.
M.Sc Chemistry
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from a recognized university. Candidates appearing from the general category need a minimum of 45%. However, SC/ST categories need comparatively 40% in the concerned subject.
M.Sc Microbiology
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in science from a recognized university. Candidates appearing from the general category need a minimum of 45%. However, SC/ST categories need comparatively 40% in the concerned subject.
M.Sc Zoology

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree under botany/ /Zoology/Micro-Biology/Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Genetics/B.Pharmacy from a recognized university. Candidates appearing from the general category need a minimum of 45%. However, SC/ST categories need comparatively 40% in the concerned subject.
M.Sc Psychology

KG PGCET 2021 Application Form
The KUPGCET Online Application is available on the website http://kakatiya.ac.in/.
You should have the following items with you when filling out the Online Application.
(a) Your current Mobile no.
(b) Information Brochure for the KUPGCET.
(c) Documents relevant to your personal information and qualifications.
(d) A scanned passport photo and signature in a soft copy.
Procedure of Registration
- In your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox), go to http://kudoa.in.
- Skim at the page that to see “Click here to register for KUPGCET Online Application.” Click it.
- You’ll see a thorough menu options screen after tapping the mentioned link.
- Please download Admission Information Brochure. Read it before filling out the application.
- On the top menu, click the Online Registration icon.
- Choose the test name(s) you want to take and your degree status (passed/appearing). Similarly chose the elective subjects you want to take. You will also see a list of acceptable and ineligible courses.
- Fill in your name and other personal information. Also, your current address and date of birth. Please enter the information as it appears on your SSC or equivalent certificate.
- Please submit your correct MOBILE number and EMAIL address while filling up your personal information. Because all correspondence from the Admission Authority (DOA) will be sent through mobile number and email only. No postal correspondence will be sent under any circumstances.
- After you’ve submitted all of your registration information, you’ll receive an SMS with a security code. It will be a Time Password. Type the passcode into the box provided in the Registration Form. Just after putting passcode, your screen will flash “VERIFIED” in green. This ensures that the registration is complete.
- Finally, click the “Register & Proceed” option to complete the application. You will be able to proceed after providing all academic and other information. Also, scanned passport photo and signature.
Steps to fill Application
- Complete the Academic, Study, Reservation, and Other Personal Information sections of the application and submit it. Click the preview button after selecting the terms and conditions box. It now shows a preview of the application. Before proceeding, ensure if everything is correctly put. However, you will be provided with are two buttons.
- In case you made mistake and want to make a change, click on “Back-To-Edit.” This allows you to correct any mistakes you made. On the other hand, “Save and Print,” allows you to continue using the application. Select “Save and Print” only if details are true to your knowledge. Later, the Acknowledgement Receipt is now generated.
- For safety purposes, get extra copies in case you lost any.
- However, candidates are not required to send a printed copy of the application to the DOA. You save it till the end of your application procedure.
- In addition, you can get make a copy of the application at any time. You need to put credentials; that is your Application No as the Id and Your Date of Birth as password. Just after you successfully log in, you can find your application form. In the end, by selecting “Print Application” you will have a soft copy of your application form.
Payment of Exam Fees
- The application form is linked to a payment gateway. By following the instructions you can complete the payment hassle-free.
- Candidates can use Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro) to make the payment. Credit cards, online banking, IMPS, and cash cards/mobile wallets are all options.
- After the successful completion of the transaction, you will be able to generate an E receipt.
The absence of an ‘E-Receipt’ denotes a PAYMENT FAILURE. If payment is unsuccessful, applicants should log in again. Use your provisional Registration Number and Password. Repeat the payment process.
- Applicants must print a copy of the e-Receipt. They must also print the online application form. Further, they should be kept in a safe place.
- All charges are stated in Indian Rupee for Credit Card customers. Candidates using a credit card that is not made in India can also make payments. Their money will get converted to the local currency using current exchange rates.
- Once your transaction is complete, please exit the browser window to ensure the security of your data.
