About KCET 2022
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for 2022 has not been conducted yet. So, the result has not been published on the website of KEA. To get admissions of the professional courses in the colleges of Karnataka, candidates must qualify in the KCET entrance exam. Professional courses like Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Farm science (Agricultural), veterinary and Diploma in pharmacy can be pursued by qualifying KCET examination. The Karnataka Exam Authority drafted a new syllabus for KCET since 2021. Certain topics from the syllabus of PUC 1 and 2 have been omitted under the 30% syllabus cut.
KCET is a state-level entrance exam and is been conducted in offline paper-pen based mode. Professional courses like B.Sc, B.tech, Pharmacy and Agriculture are offered by the several Govt / Govt-aided / Private and Un-Aided colleges of the Karnataka state. To avail of these, you must participate KCET examination. The exam conducting body for KCET is Karnataka Examination Authority. The KEA drafts the syllabus and eligibility criteria for this exam. They decide the exam centres, dates, guidelines, rules and regulations for Karnataka Common Entrance Test.
Basic Information: KCET
KCET 2022 is to be held from 16th-18th June, 2022. KEA will release KCET 2022 Application Form from 18th April- 02nd June, 2022. Candidates who passed Class 12th with the required minimum scores will be eligible to apply for the exam. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is been conducted since long. The conducting body of the KCET examination is the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). It is an offline mode paper-based examination. You can get admission to various Bachelor and diploma professional courses through this exam. It is been conducted once a year within the Karnataka state. There are 180 questions asked in the KCET, each question carries 1 mark. There are no negative marks awarded for wrong attempts. KCET Notification
KCET 2022 is expected to be held in the fourth week of August 2022. However, KEA will tentatively release KCET 2022 Application Form in the third week of April 2022. Candidates who passed Class 12th with the required minimum scores will be eligible to apply for the exam. Candidates must arrive at the allocated exam centres an hour before the examination starts. Admit Card is mandatory to participate in the examination. Candidates without the Admit Card will not be permitted inside the examination hall.
As for now, the KCET 2022 examination had finished and the candidates are waiting for their results. The Result has been released by the KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) on its website. Nationality – Candidates should be Indian citizens for applying for the KCET examination.
Qualification- Candidates should have successfully finished second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent exams having Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer/electronics.
Language- The candidate should have English as the medium of language in the qualifying examination.
Education- Candidates should have studied in Karnataka for at least 7 years in a recognized institution from class 1 to the qualifying examination.

Registration Process for KCET 2022
The registration process of the Karnataka Common Entrance test had closed on 02nd June, 2022. The KCET 2022 entrance exam will be held on 16-18th June, 2022 and the candidates are waiting for the results for the examination.
However, the registration process for KCET is followed by signing up on the website of the Karnataka Examination Authority, filling in the details in the registration form and submitting it by paying the registration fee. Only the registered candidates will receive the admit card for the KCET examination. Firstly, the Karnataka Examination Authority will notify the registration date for the examination. Secondly, you have to follow the two phases of procedures to successfully register for the exam.
Logging in and filling the application form- Phase 1
Step1: Visit the official page of KEA and click on “Register for KCET exam”
Step2: Click on “click here to register” in the login portal.
Step3: Fill in the required details. For candidates appearing 2nd PUC examination, give the 13 digit student number issued by the PUE department and give submit.
Step4: Fill in the candidate’s details such as Name, DOB, contact, mail id, etc to register your mobile and mail id.
Step5: You will receive an application number and User-ID as an SMS and mail.
Step6: Now login to the portal by using the User-ID and Password.
Step7: fill in the details and click save.
Step8: Provide the educational qualifications of the candidate and click save
Step9: The scanned copy of the candidate’s photo, thumb impression and signature had to be uploaded. The parent’s signature should also be included.
Declaration and submission of the Application form- Phase 2
Step1: An application ID and password will be mailed to your mail after the entry of the details.
Step2: The scanned copies of photograph, signature and thumb impressions must be sent again in JPG or JPEG format
Step3: The scanned copy of the photograph must be a recently taken one. The Photograph must be in a passport size format and the copies should be within 40kb.
Step4: The payment of the application fee can be done online through debit cards, credit cards or net banking.
Step5: You can also pay through the challan by taking the printout of the challan provided on the payment page and making payment in any specified banks.
Step6: Download the payment receipt and application. Take printouts for future reference.
Step7: candidates must get a signature in the application from the principal of their respected college/ school. The application printout must be brought to the document verification process.

KCET Syllabus
The KCET syllabus for 2022 will be revised and released by the Karnataka Examination Authority. The official notification on the syllabus is released on the website of KEA. You can download the subject-wise syllabus for KCET 2022 by visiting the website. According to the Karnataka Examination Authority, the syllabus for 1st PUC and 2nd PUC had been reduced for the welfare of the candidates. The syllabus is drafted wisely according to the prescription from the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka. The syllabus consists of 3 papers and the candidates must choose the papers according to the course they seek for. Each paper contains 60 questions. The subject papers are

The syllabus plays a key role in the preparation of the exam. Candidates should have full knowledge of the syllabus for the respected course they chose for. Each subject has 60 multiple-choice questions and the duration of the examination for each subject is 80minutes. You should answer the questions in an Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet. KCET Exam Pattern
The exam conducting authority Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) proposed the exam pattern for KCET 2022. The exam pattern describes the various things about the Karnataka Common Entrance Examination. They are

Firstly, the KCET is an offline mode entrance exam written in a Paper-Pen based method. The questions asked are objective type Multiple-choice questions from the syllabus. The syllabus contains 3 papers which include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology. Each paper holds an equal weightage of 60 marks. So, the candidates should focus on each subject by giving equal importance. Since 60 MCQ questions are asked in each subject, each question carries 1 mark. There are no negative marks deducted for the wrong attempts. The medium of the exam is mostly English. However, in some cases, the candidates can write the exam in Kannada.

Admit Card for KCET 2022
On June 02nd, 2022 the admit card for the KCET examination had released to the registered candidates. Only the candidates who had paid the registration fee successfully will receive the admit card. It will be published on the KEA website. You can download it from the website and take printouts of it. The admit card is the most essential thing to appear for the KCET exam. You will not be permitted inside the examination hall without the admit card. Candidates were asked to bring an ID proof along with the admit card for Photo Verification. Thus bring any of the following approved documents for photo verification.

- Do not click the refresh button while downloading the file.

- You will not receive the admit card in case of a payment failure during registration.

KCET Result
No official notification regarding the KCET result 2022 is yet out. Do check the 2021 details ahead to get a better idea.
For 2021-
Since the Karnataka Common Entrance Test had been ended on August 30, 2021, the candidates are waiting for their results. The KEA issued September 20 as the release date for KCET 2021. The result has been published online on the KEA’s official website. You can check the Result by logging in to the website using your registration details. The cut off marks for each subject will also be revealed after the publication of the result. The download option will be provided to download the scorecard of KCET. Once you click download, the scorecard will be downloaded automatically in PDF format. Check for the following details in the scorecard to avoid mistakes.
