JNUEE Exam Latest News

JNUEE 2021 Form Correction window is open from September 1, 2021. Candidates can make corrections in JNUEE 2021 application forms. JNUEE 2021 Registration began on July 27, 2021, and the last date to apply was extended to August 31, 2021. And JNUEE 2021 Exam is to be held on September 20, 21, 22, and 23, 2021.

JNUEE Registration 2021 date has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA) – http://www.jnuexams.nta.ac.in. The last date to apply for the exam was August 31, 2021. The last date for payment of fees in online mode was August 31, 2021. Like last year, the applicants can choose up to three fields of study for the same level of the program in order to appear in JNUEE 2021.

For this session, JNUEE 2021 is scheduled from September 20 to September 23. NTA has postponed the JNUEE Admit Cards release date. It was earlier scheduled to release on September 08, 2021. JNUEE exam will be conducted in two shifts:

  • First shift: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Second shift: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

As per the released information bulletin for the 2021-22 session, the exam will be conducted in LAN-based CBT (online mode). The questions will be objective in nature (MCQs) to be completed within 3 hours.

 

JNUEE Conducting Authority

The conducting authority of the JNUEE exam is NTA or National Testing Agency. The NTA is an autonomous and self-sustaining testing agency or organization to conduct entrance examinations for higher education institutions of India. JNUEE Basic Details

JNUEE Notification

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the JNU application form 2021 on August 1, as per the Times of India report. The last date for submission of the JNU admission form 2021 will be August 31. The entire process of JNU admission 2021 will be held in online mode.

According to the latest report, The JNU entrance examination 2021 is expected to take place at the end of September. The JNUEE 2021 exam will be held in computer-based mode. The complete JNU admission process is expected to be over by November.

 

JNUEE Eligibility Criteria

The JNUEE eligibility criteria depend upon the programs the candidate chooses to study.

Before filling the application form, candidates must ensure that they satisfy all the eligibility conditions for the entrance examination. The eligibility criteria for the most popular courses of JNU are listed below:

 

Nationality:

Both Indian and Foreign nationals can apply for the exam.

Age Limit

The minimum age to appear for the exam is 17 years.

Academic Qualification

For B.A (Hons) 1st year

Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks.

He/She appearing in the 10+2 examination can also apply.

For B.A (Hons) 2nd year

Candidates must have qualified for the 1st year of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks.

For MA

The student must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks under the 10+2+3 education pattern.

For M.phil and PhD

Candidates must have a master’s degree in the related subject with a minimum of 50% marks.

For MCA

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (BCA/B.Tech) with Mathematics at graduate or 10+2 level with a minimum of 55% marks.

 

For MSc (Life Sciences)

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in physical, biological or agricultural sciences with a minimum of 55% marks under the 10+2+3 education pattern.

JNUEE Exam Pattern

The NTA releases the JNUEE Exam pattern every year on their official website http://nta.ac.in. Each course the candidate takes up has a different exam pattern and syllabus:

M.Sc. Environmental Sciences The question paper will be of objective type and include questions in two parts. Part 1: Includes questions from Science and Mathematics of 10+2 standard. Part 2: Includes questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Botany, and Zoology at B.Sc. level.
MCA The question paper will include multiple-choice questions based on 10+2/Graduate level Mathematics and Probability (80% questions) and General Aptitude and reasoning (20% questions).
M.A. in Economics (with Specialization in World Economy) Objective-type questions will be asked in an examination comprising of 100 marks with negative marking. The paper tests the candidate’s knowledge in micro-economics, macro-economics, mathematics and statistics, International trade and some related disciplines, such as public economics and economic development.
B.A. (Hons.) 1st year in Foreign Language The paper judges General Knowledge, General English, and Elementary Knowledge on the culture and civilization of the languages/country concerned and aptitude for language skills.
B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in Foreign Language Knowledge of basic and applied grammar, besides some competence for simple translation from the English language concerned and vice-versa and familiarity with the culture and civilization of the country concerned. The paper will be set in respective foreign languages.
M.phil /PhD and M.Tech /PhD The entrance examination will consist of multiple-choice questions. The question paper has Graduate/Postgraduate level Mathematics and Statistics, Graduate/Postgraduate level Computer Science and General Aptitude.
