The institute was build in the year 1963. It is an independent body under the ministry of commerce and industry, Government of India. The institute offers research and training in business and trade. It received the status of “deemed to be university” in 2002. The institute has received an ‘A’ grade from NAAC. Which makes it the best institution across the state.
It received an ‘A’ grade in 2005 as well as in 2015. Indian Institute of Foreign trade ranked 6th in 2020 among the institutes offering management courses. It also ranked 10th in 2019 by “Business Today”. The institute has collaborated with several international academies across the globe. IIFT is working hard to develop skills among the students. IIFT Notification: 2022 Examination
- The application form is available on the official website of IIFT. The application process began on 2nd September 2021.
- The last date to fill the online application form has been released. The last date to fill the form was 15th October 2021. Candidates must fill the online application form before the last date. There will be more traffic on the last date, the server may work slower than normal. Late entries will not be entertained by the institute.

The institute conducts the IIFT entrance exam once a year. The institute conducts an entrance exam to select eligible candidates for admission to management courses. IIFT Exam Pattern
The institute has specified an IIFT Exam Pattern for the IIFT 2022. The syllabus will consist of important topics. The syllabus for IIFT 2021 will be the same as that of the previous year. The same number of questions will be asked in the entrance exam. Each candidate will be given 2 hours.
A time of 120 minutes will be given to complete the test. The question paper will carry a total of 110 questions. The question paper will consist of four sections. Each section will have a different marking scheme. All the questions will be asked in English.
The medium of the paper will be English. The question paper will have moderate to high-level questions. The question paper will have objective-type questions. Each question will carry four options. Candidates have to choose the right answer among the given options. Subjective questions will not be asked in the IIFT 2022.

IIFT Marking Scheme
The question paper will consist of four sections. Each section will have a different number of questions. Marks for each question will depend on the topic asked. There will be a negative for giving wrong answers. Marks will be cut for giving the wrong answers.
Each candidate has to be careful before answering the questions. If a candidate gives a wrong answer he or she will be rewarded negative marks. Candidates will have to complete the admission test within 2 hours. Candidates have to finish the exam within the time limit. No extra time will be given.

IIFT Counseling
