However, due to Covid-19 the registration process was postponed to September 12,2021. There is a new update in the website. The final day for admission for 2021-22 had extended. The HPCET exam application dates was released on June 22, 2021. The final date for application submission is September 12,2021. The common entrance test is to be conducted in offline mode. The nature of the exam will be in English. A total of 180 minutes will be allotted to the candidates to complete the test. There will be 150 questions from three segments. For every wrong response, 0.5 marks will be deducted. The table given below represents the above mentioned data.

The Himachal Pradesh Technical University has shifted its dates from July 20, 2021, to September 12, 2021.
Candidates must check their eligibility before filling up the application form. HP CET 2021 eligibility criteria varies from one program to the other. Aspirants interested in pursuing B. Tech should have physics and mathematics. It has to be their prime subjects. And individuals interested in studying B.Pharma must have physics and chemistry.

The aspirants should have to prepare 10+2 level subjects. That is physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology.

The availability of application forms online is from June 22nd, 2021 to September 12 (tentatively). The candidates who have applied for HPCET must fulfill eligibility criteria. The information brochure should be studied thoroughly before registering.
A gradual stepwise procedure is given below. It should be followed by the candidates for submission of application form.
The initial step to be followed is “Create an account”. It is important to register in the application form. The candidate has to fill in the credentials. Details like user name, password has to be confirmed. The registration site will ask for reconfirmation. The candidate needs to confirm the birthdate, email id, and phone number. These are necessities to further proceed in the registration process.
The system generates an “Application Number” to be used by the candidate in future. A mail will be sent to the registered email id. The candidate must be sure to fill in the correct mail address. Candidate should note the application number and password for further reference.
To fill the application form, log in to the account website. Use the username and password to log in. Enter the following details. Then cross verify the details. Add details if anything is left out. The following are to be filled up
Then click on the “ Save and Continue” button to follow the next step.
The next step is to upload a photograph and signature. The photo and signature uploaded should be of the desired size (MB).The applicant must read about it in the brochure. Click on the space where it asks to upload a photograph and signature. Click on browse to select files from the computer. And theN upload it. After inserting the photo and signature, click on the “upload” button.
The next page that pops in, is the confirmation page of HPCET. The page holds two options for the candidate. That is whether to edit the page or submit the page. It is followed by the payment page. If the candidate has any changes to make, they can opt for the edit option. They can perform the same in it. If the details given are correct then they can proceed. The next page is the payment page.
In this step, the candidate has already filled in all the required details. The candidates have also made the corrections. This page directs the candidate to the payment page. The payment modes is of two type shown below:
The choice for the mode of payment is done by the candidate. After which the application form for HPCET 2021 will be completed.

The candidates who have correctly filled all the details during form fill-up are eligible admit card. The HPCET admit card can be accessed from the website. The release of the HPCET admit card is in the first week of Exam. Due to delay in exam, the admit card was delayed. The admit card is released online. The candidate must take out a printout of the admit card and carry the hard copy along with them to the examination center. No candidate will be allowed to enter the hall without a valid exam ticket.
The subsequent steps are to be followed to download the admit card.
Candidates must look over the details they have filled in. The correctness of the details will let the students download the hall ticket. Any error in the admit card should be questioned. The invalid hall ticket may lead to cancellation. That is the students cannot attend the test.
In case there is any discrepancies, the student must immediately contact the University. If the signature and photograph in the admit card are not displayed. Or it was not uploaded properly. The candidate should fix the photo and signature. The gazette officer should sign the hall ticket. The aspirant should ensure to validate the ticket. If error occurs, the candidate cannot appear the test.
The HPCET Exam Centers are located differently. The state-level entrance test is conducted at diverse locations. The Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test is managed and organized by the HPTU. Around 16 different towns and cities of HP the exam is conducted. The candidate is allowed to choose their own exam centers. The center for exam is asked during form fillup. The HPCET exam authority will publish the results after a week. The results are released after the administration of the test. Candidates can further download the results. The HPTU declares the result. The result is available in the official website.

The answer set will be available for all the students. Those who have appeared in the HPCET exam can access the same. The answers are released a few hours after the test. The candidates can further check the answers. They would also get an average idea about their performance. If a candidate finds any answer irrelevant or incorrect, they can raise a complaint. The complaint is sent to the concerned examining body. They can also write to the university to cross verify the inappropriate answer. The applicant should also send the correct answer.
The concerned examining body i.e. HPTU will announce the cut-off marks only after the declaration of the final result. The students who have scored more than or equal to HPCET exam cut-off marks will be eligible for the admission process.
The qualified candidates of the HP CET examination 2021 will recieve an email upon selection. The candidate should follow the official website for details. Individuals who cleared JEE Mains can also apply for the counseling process.
Candidates who have cleared the HP CET exam need not need to require to fill any application form. However, the JEE Main qualified candidates have to fill an application form. The University searches for qualified students. The university reserves seats for competent students. The JEE Mains students, cover 50% of the total seats. And the other 50% is for HP CET certified students.
The candidates eligible for admission have to pay fees online. They can pay the fee via net banking, credit, or debit card. In the counseling process, the individuals are told about the institutions.
