GSAT Important Dates

The University of GITAM will release the important dates and notifications of GSAT 2022 on its official website. Candidates must visit the website to check all the notifications and guidelines.

The tentative dates for the GSAT 2022 exam are provided in the table-

GSAT Syllabus

The GSAT Syllabus has 2 sections. Candidates should study all the sections to score well. The full syllabus is given below. However, applicants can check the official website of GITAM University to know more. The question paper has 60 MCQs. Candidates have to answer the questions in 1 hours’ time. The first part A is 15 marks. Section B and C is 20 and 25 marks. The full paper is 60 marks. The candidates should check the paper code before applying. The syllabus for every paper is given on the website. Candidates can check online to know more.

The Postgraduate program test is in Mathematics, Physical sciences, Life Sciences, and Chemical Sciences. The paper has 2 parts and 3 sections. The syllabus for each subject is given below.

• Part A is common for all the subjects.

GSAT exam pattern stands as an important factor for the preparation. GITAM University conducts GSAT in an offline mode. Interested students who want admission into the UG and PG courses at GITAM University can apply for GSAT. The question paper has 60 MCQs. The exam is for 60 marks. The paper has the following sections:

• Part A: Common for all papers.
• Part B: Subject relevant.

GSAT 2021 will be held soon. GITAM University has released the full syllabus and exam pattern on its official website. The paper has three sections. A total of 60 MCQs. GSAT Admit card

No official date for the distribution of the GSAT admit card has yet been announced.

The University of GITAM will release the GSAT 2021 Admit Card soon. Candidates can visit the official website to download the Admit Cards. To view the Admit cards, candidates have to visit the official website and log in. They have to log in with their details (such as user ID and password) and click on the download Admit Card tab. Applicants must download the admit card before the last date. Candidates must check all the details on the Admit card and inform GITAM University if any mistake is found. Candidates have to carry the admit card to the exam center on the day of the exam. Applicants must keep their Admit cards safe till the admission process is over.

Documents to carry

Candidates should visit the official website of GITAM University to check the guidelines given. On the day of the exam, the candidates should carry the following documents:

1. GSAT 2021 Admit Card.
2. Valid Photo ID proof.
3. Passport size photograph.
4. Blue/Black ballpoint pens.

Candidates should not carry any gadgets like mobile, watches, and calculators to the exam hall. No food items, bags, books, and paper will be allowed inside the exam center. Applicants will not be allowed to sit for the exam if they are found with these items.

 

How to download GSAT Admit Card?

The University of GITAM will release the GSAT 2021 Admit Card on their official website only. The GSAT Admit Card will only be available to those candidates who have successfully done the online Application form filling and payment process.

To download the GSAT Admit Card, candidates have to perform the following steps:

1. Applicants have to visit the official website of GITAM University and click on the view Admit Card link.
2. Candidates now have to log in to their Dashboard with their Application Id and Password.
3. Now, applicants have to click on the Download Admit Card option.
4. Candidates can take a printout of the Admit Card.

Applicants must check all the details given on the admit card and report if any mistakes are found.

Possible issues while downloading GSAT Admit Card

Candidates can face the following problems while downloading the GSAT 2022 Admit Card:

1. Admit cards may not issue for a candidate if they did not submit the online application form correctly. In that situation, candidates have to inform GITAM University about this.
2. If the candidates have filled the Application form correctly and also paid the fees still the Admit Card is not issued. Then the candidates have to inform the conducting body.

What to do if details are wrong on the Admit Card?

If a candidate finds the Admit Card details to be wrong then the candidate should inform the GITAM University helpline as soon as possible. The contact information is given on the official website.

 

Important instructions

Candidates should note the following guidelines on the day of the exam.

1. Candidates should report to the exam center at least an hour before the exam.
2. Applicants must carry a colored printout of their Admit card, a recent passport size photograph, and a valid Photo ID proof to the exam center.
3. Applicants should not carry any mobiles, watches, calculators, bags, and food items to the exam hall.

 

GSAT Counseling: Schedule Dates

The GSAT Counseling and choice filling is conducted in an online medium only. Candidates have to register themselves. The counseling process includes the followings steps; registration, choice filling, seat locking, and lastly seat allotment. Only those candidates who have passed the GSAT entrance test can register themselves for the counseling process. GSAT Application Date

GITAM University will release the GSAT 2022 online Application forms from September 2021 on the official website. The last date to fill up the application forms is not out yet. To fill the forms, applicants have to visit the official website and register themselves. Candidates have to fill up the application forms correctly to be eligible to appear for the exam.

Exam result

The University of GITAM will release the GSAT 2022 Results soon on their official website. Candidates must note that the results of the exam will be available online only and no results will be sent through the mail. The scorecard will have the following details mentioned:

• Candidate Name, Application Number, Gender, Date of birth, Category, Parent’s name,
• the All India Rank (AIR) of the candidate,
• Section-wise marks, and
• the total marks obtained by the candidate.

 

How to Download GSAT Result?

The GSAT 2021 Results will be available for candidates soon. To download GSAT 2021 Result, applicants have to perform the following steps:

• Candidates have to visit the official GSAT website and click on the View Results tab.
• Candidates will now have to log in to their Dashboard with their log-in credentials such as Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
• After successfully logging in, Candidates can now view their results and download the scorecard.

The GSAT exam dates are not out yet. GITAM University will declare the GSAT 2021 Results soon on the official website. Candidates must keep a check on the website for the latest news and updates. GSAT 2021 will be held soon in 2021. Applicants should note that no changes in the results will be allowed after the final announcement of the examination scores.

 

How to calculate GSAT percentile

GSAT Results will have the marks scored by the candidates and the ranks. There is no percentile for this exam. Seat allotment to candidates is on basis of ranks. Candidates meeting the cut-off marks can apply for the counseling process.

 

Seats available

After the counseling process candidates will be eligible for the seat allotment process. This process is done offline. The allotment of seats is based on Candidate ranks. As of now, many seats are available for admission into M.Sc. programs at GITAM University. A percentage of the seats are reserved for wards of GITAM University teachers. Candidates must check the official website for details on the seat allotment process.

 

GSAT Counseling process

The University of GITAM conducts the GSAT counseling process after the release of the results. The cut-off marks will be available on the website. Candidates meeting the cut-off can register for the first round of counseling. Candidates have to submit documents for checking. After checking of documents the admission list, GITAM University will release the Admission list. Selected candidates will have to complete the admission process and pay the course fees. Candidates have to pay the seat allotment fees within 24 hours time.

• Applicants can visit the official GSAT website and click on the registration.
• Next, aspirants must select the “I agree” tab and submit their name, application number, date of birth, and security pin.
• Then candidates have to submit documents for verification.
• After verification, selected candidates have to pay the admission course fee.
• The fee should be paid within 24 hours of seat allotment.

Candidates must have the following documents for the counseling procedure of GSAT:

• Educational qualification certificate from any recognized board/university
• Documents in support of category
• Date of birth certificate
• GSAT Admit Card, Scorecard, and Application form.
• GSAT counseling call letter.

 

Next steps after GSAT Result

After the GSAT result is released, Candidates who make it into the merit list can appear for the counseling procedure. A merit list is prepared based on the rank obtained by candidates in the exam. Thus, applicants who scored more marks will get a higher Rank on the merit list. The counseling process has two rounds. Candidates have to register themselves for the counseling and seat filling process on the official website.
