The GLAET (Ganeshi Lal Agarwal University Entrance test) is an entry-level exam for UG/PG students. The GLA University is the conducting body of this examination. We will be breaking down every section one by one. Firstly, let us look at the 12th pass streams, primarily Science. The candidate for the UG degree from GLA University should be a 12th pass. Additionally, they should have 50 percent marks in all subjects(cumulative). Among them, Chemistry and Computer should have more than 50% marks.

Apart from the Science stream, the BBA and BA students should also have a passing certificate of 12th. Along with the passing proof, they should possess a 50% aggregate score in all subjects. The students having 50 per cent marks in all subjects put the eligibility at a high and increases the merit to enter.

Next, we will discuss the undergraduate students looking to enter and complete their postgraduate. That is why the stakes are high for this category. The undergraduates must have more than 60% marks in each subject. This allows for diversification. They must also have a 50 per cent aggregate counting all the subjects.

Lastly, let’s look at PhD. It is difficult to get a doctorate anywhere. A master’s degree along with a cumulative score of 6.75 out of 10 is required to enter for the admission test.

 

Registration Process

Now, we will be taking a look at the registration process for the GLAET examinations. Just like any other online examination, the students can go to the official website of the conducting authority to apply. Therefore, the students will need to log in on the GLA official website to apply.

The application process opened on the first of January. Students can either apply or online depending on their convenience. The application process is available in offline modes as well. The registration process is very easy. All you have to do is log on to the official website of the university. Firstly, go to the website. You will be asked to make an account for the application if you do not have one already.

The students will apply for the GLAET from the 1st of January. This early application gets the students enough time for application and study. The application form and fees for the examination are Rs.700 for the UG/PG courses. However, the fees for diploma courses like D.Pharma, and B.Ed are Rs. 500/-.

The candidates are required to fill in all of their personal, educational, and mandatory details to get finish the application. After filling in the application form, and paying the fees, they must select the required date, time, and venue for the examination.

The online form is filled by visiting the website. The application fees are paid by credit cards, debit cards, UPI IDs, and Net Banking. After the fees are paid, the students will receive all the updates including their ID and Password through email.

The offline form is filled by downloading the form online. The students should print it out and fill it. After filling it out, they should put it inside an envelope along with a Demand Draft of the fees.

GLAET Pattern

The paper pattern is an integral part of understanding the exam and its components. The exam pattern depends upon the subjects too. That is why this exam has an online mode of answering. The MCQ paper pattern helps the students to quickly answer. It narrows down the choices and helps students retain information.

The students must check the pattern for GLAET properly before studying. It is important to study the pattern before studying the syllabus itself. Therefore, it is important to consider the marks allocation and weightage. Let us discuss how the pattern is and what subjects you should prioritize according to it.

The students will have approximately 120 minutes to complete the exam. Among those 120 minutes, there will be 90 questions to complete. The 90 questions will be regarding the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The answers will be given in a Multiple choice way.

There will be 45 questions based on Mathematics, 20 on Physics, 15 on English, and 10 in Chemistry. The test will be given only in the online form. There is no offline form of examination. Although the payment of fees is done offline, the exam is not taken that way.

A very important thing to remember is that there will be 4 marks awarded for each right answer. While a wrong answer will deduct a mark from the student’s total. Therefore, students will have to be mindful of this marking system whenever attempting questions. No marks will be given if a question is left unattended.

The GLAET is the most important document in regards to this entrance examination. It helps the students navigate the centre and has all the information regarding the examination. The admit card has information such as the candidate’s name, personal details, and more. Personal details include the photograph, signature, address, and more.

The admit card also contains all of the details regarding the examination. It has the address of the center, the venue name, the time of the exam, and more. This helps the student navigate the center with ease. It also provides them with necessary information regarding the exam, if they forget. The admit card of the student is available to download after the payment of the fees.

The admit card is downloadable from the official website. Firstly, students need to log in or make an account on the GLA website. GLAET Result

The result for the GLAET is announced a day after the examinations. This resulting system is one of the rare ones that give results immediately after the exam is conducted. In the traditional exams, the results are announced a month after the papers, due to all of the grading and assigning systems.

The students can check the result by going on the official website and logging in. They need the unique ID and password, that was used while filling the application form. That is why it is important to keep the ID and password written somewhere. So, if you need it, you can access it quickly.

Any notification regarding the exam result is uploaded on the official website. If not, the students are notified via the registered email. To access the result, the students will first enter the website. After entering the website, login in will be the next step. After the logging-in process, students need to click on the admissions tab on the main screen.
