Delhi University entrance test AKA DUET is an online-based entrance exam. It is conducted by a National testing agency(NTA) candidates seeking admission for undergraduate, postgraduate, MPhil, and PhD courses which are offered under DU. The exam is held once a year for aspiring candidates.

In the year 2021, firstly, NTA will conduct a UG entrance exam under the DUET exam:

The NTA is in charge of conducting entrance exams for DU, name as Delhi University examination (DUET). It has been under NTA since 2019.
About NTA, the National Testing Agency is an autonomous hence independent, and self-sustained premier testing organization. The Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), at present known as the Ministry of Education(MoE), established the NTA.
NTA, established under the societies registration act (1860). NTA conducts an efficient, transparent, international standard test. The factual purpose behind this is to check the talent among candidates to get admission in premium institutions.
The DUET examination is a mandatory entrance test for getting admissions in UG, PG, or P.hd. courses. DUET is specially composed for the entrance tests for DU and affiliated colleges.
NTA is responsible for conducting many entrance exams, including DUET. DUET application form for the examination is available from August 2nd for all courses. The last date to complete the application for UG is August 31st. And for PG and P.hD., it is August 21st. Fill the forms before the last dates.
For now, DUET conducts many entrance exams offered by DU. The mode of examination is Computer Based Test. And the duration of the exam is 2 hours maximum. The format will be Multiple Choice Questions based. The paper is of a total of 50 questions of 4 marks each. The marking scheme is the same as other exams. Negative marking will be there for this exam. A -1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The language for the question paper will be English. Duet application fee for the General category is Rs 500.
The frequency of the DUET exam is once every year. The examination is in online mode. But, the mode of counselling is offline. DUET is a National Level exam in which 4 colleges participate. The exam will be at allotted centres in different cities. Centres are – Jammu, Amritsar, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc. The exam centres, once selected by the candidate, can’t be changed. But, NTA can allot cities other than the options made by the candidate in the application form.
After the registration process, the DUET Admit Card will be available soon. The candidates need to download it from the official website. Soon after the exams, the results will get uploaded to the official website. As soon as the score is out, DU and affiliated colleges start the counselling process.
At least eight DUET 2021 admission lists will be released by universities for their respective entrance test exam. The candidate’s name in the DU merit list will be just a few steps away from admission. These candidates have to go to the online portal to complete the process. First, upload the documents. And last, pay the fees according to the fee structure for a particular course.

DUET Notification pdf released on July 27, 2021. Further proceeding with the registration starting from August 2, 2021. But the window closes on different dates for different streams. The admit card releases before the exams, the date of release is still not sure.
As of now, exam dates are from September 26 to October 1 for various streams. The provisional answer key will upload in October. The final answer key will release in October. And finally, the result will be released in late October, soon after which counselling will commence.

On July 21, 2021, NTA released the DUET Notification pdf on the official website. In other words, NTA announces the commencement of the DUET-2021.

On July 26, 2021, the application form for DUET 2021 came out. To appear in the examination, a candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria. They must make sure to fill the application form correctly following the DUET Registration Process. At last, candidates need to fill in their details, education, along with the documents.
The mode of application is Online. The payment for the application will be Online means. It can be a Credit/Debit card/ UPI. Cash will not be accepted.

DUET 2021 exam pattern is different for all the various entrance exams.
Candidates who will appear for the DUET B.Tech entrance exam should see the exam pattern in addition before going proceeding.

The DUET admits card is easily downloadable from the official website. Candidates can get the admit card by logging in with their username, password, and captcha code. Only registered candidates will be able to download the DUET admit card. The admit card is the most crucial document carried to the entrance exam centre. In short, to appear for the exam candidate must possess the admit card with other required documents.
The admit card for the DUET exam will have the following details, which the candidate has provided to NTA while registering.
The candidate should carefully download the admit card from the website and place it carefully. A candidate isn’t allowed in the examination hall if he does not have their admit cards.
Firstly, candidates should get at least two copies of the downloaded admit card. Secondly, both prints will get signed by the invigilator at the exam centre on the day of the exam.

NTA announced the dates for the DUET exam 2021. According to the notification, the exam will be from September 26 to October 1 for different streams. NTA is yet to announce the dates for the answer key and result. As soon as the exam ends, results will be out. To check results, candidates need to log in to the official website of the NTA on specific dates. In the conclusion, the result card will have the following details-
