About CUET Exam and Exam Conducting Authority

The CUET is a compulsory entrance test that will facilitate admissions to all the Central Universities of India. This common entrance test 2022 for central universities gets conducted by the NTA. This exam was earlier known as CUCET. Starting this year, the UGC changed it to CUET. The CUET 2022 score will be the only criteria for getting admitted to any central university in India. So, the marks scored by candidates in their class twelve will carry no weightage now.

The CUET score will get accepted by all the central universities, which will fill around 1.8 lakh seats in total. In addition to this, the exam will be completed in 2 shifts and held only once every year. But, the NTA is considering organizing the exam twice a year from the next academic session. The exam will get conducted in 13 abroad cities. Earlier, this CUCET was a paper-pen based mode exam. Then, last year, the NTA switched it to a computer-based mode online exam. Now, approximately 1-2 lakh candidates can take this national-level central universities common entrance test in 2022.
