BHU PET or Banaras Hindu University Post-graduation Entrance exam is conducted to provide admission in Banaras Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh. Banaras Hindu University is one of the renowned universities in the world. Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya along with other eminent personalities found Banaras Hindu University in 1916. It is an education hub for both Indian as well as international students.
Banaras Hindu University comprises of The Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, Institute of Science, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Institute of Medical Sciences, Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, Institute of Management, 4 Inter-Disciplinary Centres, a Women’s college, 3 schools. BHU offers a wide range of courses in 16 Faculties across 140 Departments. BHU offers General, Professional, Special and Vocational courses in Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Medicine, Fine Arts and Performing Arts.
National Testing Agency (NTA), a top-ranking organisation that is known for conducting transparent, efficient tests as per international standards will conduct BHU PET 2022.
The eligibility criterion for BHU PET varies slightly for each post-graduation course.
Please note that if the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria for the entrance test, he/she will not get admission even if they pass the exam. Hence, it is important that the candidate fulfils the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.
The minimum eligibility criteria for BHU PET 2022 is Bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.
There is no age limit for taking this test and one can apply for this test as many times as they wish. However, Candidates for BHU PET must be Indian National.
Candidates are free to appear for more than one test if they are eligible to do so. However, their exams must be on different dates.
OBC and physically challenged candidates require a minimum of 45% aggregate marks to take the test. On the other hand, for ST/SC candidates, there are no eligibility criteria.
**Applicants belonging to any of the reserved categories must be able to produce certificates for their respective categories.
• It is necessary for the candidate to produce photocopies of both sides of their mark sheet. In case the candidate’s mark sheet does not clearly mention the percentage of marks obtained, he/she will need to get a conversion certificate from their previous organization, mentioning either the converted marks or a grade to the numerical conversion formula
• Candidates in their final year of graduation can also appear for the test. However, they will need their original mark sheet on their counselling day. If a candidate fails to produce their mark sheet, their candidacy will be cancelled without any refund
• Students enrolled in Banaras Hindu University are not allowed to pursue any course from another university at the same time

The application for MBA/MBA-IB courses in Banaras Hindu University has ended on January 04, 2022 (mid night).
National Testing Agency has released forms for BHU PET 2022 for other courses.
The BHU PET 2022 will be conducted online. Admit cards will be issued to candidates almost a week before the exam after applications are reviewed by the University.

Applications for BHU PET 2022 will be accepted in online mode only. You can follow the steps below to apply online:

The Application fee for BHU PET can be paid in both online and offline mode.
The admit card for BHU PET 2022 will be available on the BHU Entrance Test Portal bhuonline.in . BHU PET is usually issued a week or so before the exams start. It is necessary to provide the registration ID at the time of downloading the admit card from the portal. The candidate will need to download the admit card and paste a recent passport size photograph on the same. If the candidate faces a downloading issue or mistake in the admit card, the Controller of the examination must be contacted without delay. The candidate must carry the admit card on the day of the exam along with some other documents. He/she will need to present the same at the time of examination.
Please note that admit cards will only be available for successful submissions of online applications.
• The candidate needs to visit the BHU Entrance exam portal and select the option of “download admit card”
• You will be redirected to a page asking for your credentials such as unique registration ID and password. Enter those correctly
• Your admit card will be displayed and available for download
• After downloading, paste a recent passport size photograph in the space provided for the same

The exam syllabus for BHU PET varies from one course to another. Therefore, it is necessary to go through the exam pattern and syllabus before the exam for the same in order to excel.
The syllabus for the BHU PET course would be based on the subjects related to it. For example, Statistics would have Maths, Geophysics would have Physics and Mathematics. Similarly, Environmental Science would have questions related to Life science, Physics, Chemistry. Likewise, the test for the English course would have questions based on Idioms, Error spotting, spelling detection, synonyms/antonyms.
The number of sections in BHU PET would vary based on the subject selected and have questions related to the course selected.
The best way to gain an understanding of the types of questions you are likely to face as well as the various sections, syllabus and pattern of the examination is by solving sample papers for BHU PET as well as the question papers of the previous years. This will help you solve the paper in time as well besides knowing what to expect in the exam.
For every correct answer, you will get +3 marks. For every incorrect answer, you will get a -1 marking. However, an unanswered question will result in 0 markings. It is thus recommended that you don’t make mistakes. Other mistakes that you must avoid are making ovals, darkening more than one oval, drawing unnecessary lines or marks on the OMR sheet or your question paper which may even result in uncalled for trouble.
The results for BHU PET 2022 will be available for viewing and downloading from the official website of BHU. Candidates appearing for the test can view their results using their credentials to log in such as roll number and the date of birth.
BHU will decide the qualifying marks and furnish the merit list for selecting the candidates shortly after the declaration of the results.
Counselling starts a few weeks after the result declaration. Candidates who are shortlisted are given a chance to appear for the counselling process. Students can then take admission in the course of their choice offered by BHU.
BHU PET 2021 results will be released online. Students appearing for the test can follow the simple steps given below in order to view their results:
• Candidate needs to visit the official website for BHU, i.e., www.bhuonline.in and select “BHU PET 2022 Results” under the ‘Admissions’ section
• You will be redirected to a new page asking to select your preferred course. Select from the options given.
• Next, you will be asked to provide your credentials such as unique registration ID and password
• Your results will be displayed. Save/Download your results from here
Additionally, candidates appearing for the BHU PET 2022 exam will also be notified on their mobile number once the results are out. Hence, it is important that students use their personal email ID and mobile number for registration. Candidates must keep a check and download their results for further processes.
