AUCET 2022: Exam Dates, Fees, Eligibility and Notification

AUCET stands for Andhra University Common Entrance Test. This entrance exam is conducted at a state level by Andhra University. This provides the opportunity to get admissions to post-graduate courses for Arts and science undergraduate students. The candidates can apply for PG courses such as M.Sc / M.Ed / M.Tech / M.A / M.Com etc. The Exam is conducted once a year across the state of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates can avail admission for PG courses in the affiliated colleges of Andhra University, Vishakapatnam, and Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam. It is an Offline mode examination that is conducted for 90 minutes. The candidates should check the eligibility criteria before registering for the examination.

AUCET 2022: Details about the examination

The Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET)  is conducted within the state of Andhra Pradesh. This is a Multiple choice questions-based offline examination conducted at designated exam centers. The Andhra University located at Vishakapatnam organizes the AUCET examination to provide admissions to the PG courses for UG Arts and Science candidates. The fields like Commerce, Teaching, Humanities, Science, Management, etc, can be chosen in the PG course through this entrance exam.

The Andhra University is established in the year 1926 and is a non-profit institution that promotes higher education to the public. The Exam commission allotted an application fee of Rs 600 for general candidates and Rs 500 for reserved candidates. Mode of the Examination

The AUCET 2022 is an offline mode entrance examination that consists of objective and multiple-choice questions. The total number of questions asked will be 100 and each question carries 1 mark.

AUCET is an offline pen and paper mode examination. The total time duration for this exam is 1hour 30 minutes (90 minutes). The questions asked are objective type or MCQ based. The total number of questions asked is 100 and each question carries 1mark. There are no negative marks on the AUCET exam. Only candidates who graduated undergraduates in the arts and science field can participate in this exam.

AUCET Eligibility Criteria

The Exam authority of Andhra University has fixed AUCET eligibility criteria for candidates to participate in the exam. They categorized the eligibility criteria based on three factors

  • Nationality
  • Educational Qualifications
  • Age limit

Nationality criteria

  • The candidate’s nationality must be Indian.
  • The candidate must be from Andhra Pradesh and should hold valid residential proof amended by the Andhra Pradesh state Educational institution 1974.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidates must possess a 3 year UG certificate in Arts and Science courses with a minimum score of 50% for general and 45% for reserved candidates.
  • Candidates must have either a UG completion certificate or appearing the final year examination in 2022. Candidates appearing final year examination may provide the provisional certificate and should complete the exam successfully with the required score before joining the college.

Age Limit

  • There is no specific age limit for AUCET 2022 aligned by Andhra University.
  • To apply for the fee reimbursement and Scholarship, the maximum age limit for SC / ST candidates is 34 and for EBC / Minorities / PWD candidates is 30.

The undergraduate engineers cannot apply for this exam

AUCET Application Process

The AUCET application process for the the Common Entrance test 2022 is made online. The registration date for this exam will be released on the website of Andhra University. Once it is released, visit audoa.in and the registration link will appear on the website. Please go through the eligibility criteria before registering for the exam. Make sure to collect these pieces of information before applying for the AUCET exam.

  • Hall ticket number of final UG or diploma examination.
  • Percentage of marks and the year of passing the UG course.
  • Date of Birth according to the SSC record.
  • Community certificate for reserved candidates such as SC / ST / BC.
  • Certificates validating PH/ NCC/ Sports/ CAP/ NSS etc.
  • Parent’s income ranges from 1 lakh, 2lakhs and more.

Procedure to register for AUCET 2022

The essential steps to be followed to register for AUCET 2022 are

Registration

  • Visit the official website of Andhra University (audoa.in)
  • Click the icon named AUCET 2022
  • Click the registration link to open the application form.

Include the details

You have to include the details asked in the application form. The required details are

  • Personal details- the personal details of the candidate includes
    1. Name of the candidate
    2. Candidate’s parent’s names
    3. DOB
    4. Sexuality
    5. Martial status
    6. Religion
    7. Category, etc.
  • Address- The current address and the permanent address of the candidates must be included. Contact information like mobile number and email could be asked.
  • Aadhar number- For candidates who wish to get the scholarship from the AP social welfare department may enter the aadhar card number.
  • Candidate’s Photograph and Signature- The recently taken photograph and signature of the candidate must be uploaded while registering. The documents should be in JPEG format and the maximum size of the document must be within 150kb.
  • Exam centre- candidates can select the preferable exam centres. However, the exam centres will be finalized by the exam committee.
  • Academic qualifications- The educational details and remarks of the candidate must be uploaded from class IX to the 3rd year of college. It includes the name of the educational institutions, year of completion, departments and location of the institutions.

Submit Form

  • Check for any errors and click the “Back to edit” option to edit the mistakes.
  • Now, click the save and print button. The application will be successfully submitted.
  • To complete the registration process, the payment process should be taken.

Payment Process

  • Once the registration form has been submitted, click the “proceed to pay” option.
  • The candidates have to pay the allocated register fee according to their category.
  • The payment can be done using credit or debit cards and through net banking.
  • Enter the payment details and click pay.
  • You will receive the payment confirmation SMS on the registered mobile number.
  • Give print and take print-out of the application form.

AUCET 2022 Syllabus

The AUCET syllabus for the Common Entrance Test is designed by the directorate of the examination i.e, Andhra University. There is no change in the syllabus from the last year. The syllabus must be well known by the candidates. The questions will be objective MCQ based type. The syllabus is based on critical topics from the undergraduate level.   • The AUCET Admit Card is the most essential thing that a candidate should carry to the AUCET exam centre.

AUCET Cut-Off
