AU PGAT Exam and Exam Conducting Authority

The University of Allahabad is a very prestigious and fourth oldest public university in India. Moreover, It is also known as the Allahabad University. AU PGAT Exam’s Basic Information

Allahabad University published an online application for participation on 11 September 2021. Applicants must complete and apply to attend AU. AU PGAT Eligibility Criteria

To apply for PG studies, applicants must meet the University of Allahabad’s PGAT 2021 eligibility criteria set by the university. On the other hand, Candidates who do not meet the selection criteria for the PGAT 2021 program of AU will lose the right to run in the elections in the end. Therefore, the following PG courses offered by the university are given below.

 

The most important criteria for the selection of candidates to AU, which applicants must meet in all subjects, are listed below:
  • Age limit: there is no set age limit for test-takers yet.
  • The number of trials: Indeed, Applicants can try as many times as they like without any special rules set by the AU.
  • Furthermore, Candidates have passed or participated in the final qualifying exams (B. Sc. / B.Com. / B.A., three-year courses) from AU. And in B. Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. / Honors courses also from an accredited UGC University or exams recognized by the AU as well.

 

MA / M.Com/ M.Sc

Applicants must have completed the BA / B.Sc / B.Com at a recognized University / Institution.

 

MA Painting

Applicants must have passed the BFA / BVA from a recognized University / Institution. For admission to the Master in Painting, Candidates must pass the Practical Test :

(a) Drawing from nature 50 points / 120 minutes.

(b) Portrait 50 points / 120 minutes watercolor.

 

MA / M.Sc in Statistics

Applicants who have passed the BA / B.Sc. with Mathematics as the main subject, with Statistics as a subject up to the BA / B.Sc.

 

M.Sc in Biochemistry

Applicants must have passed the B.Sc with Chemistry / Biochemistry as Subject. And, Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Industrial Fisheries and Fisheries as one of the subjects.

Exam with Chemistry / Biochemistry / Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology as main / subordinate subject. MBBS may also apply for admission.

 

M.Sc in Agricultural Sciences

Applicants must have completed a B.Sc (Agriculture) from a recognized University / Institution.

 

MPA (Vocal / Sitar / Tabla)

Applicants must have passed the BA with Music as a subject or the BA (Honors) with Music recognized by the University / Institution are eligible.

 

M.Sc in Computer Science

Applicants must have completed the B.Sc. (License) / B.Ns. (Honors) with Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology as one of its subjects.

 

M.Sc in Applied Geology

A candidate must have completed the B.Sc. with one of the following subjects Physics / Mathematics / Geology.

 

MCA

An applicant must complete a B.Sc / similar degree from a University / Institution with Mathematics / Computer Science as one of its subjects. A candidate with a BCA / BIT or with a B.Tech / B.E. degree from a recognized University / Institution.

 

MFA (Master in Fine Arts)

Applicants must have a BFA degree in Arts / Graphics / Textile / Painting from a University / Institution. And, also exams with marks of 55% and no more than 27 years old as of June 30, 2018, will be eligible. Applicants who have their BFA credit in Painting / Graphics / Textile from AU will be eligible for admission into Graphic / Textile Design.

 

MA in Development Studies

Applicants must have completed the Bachelor of Social Work / B.Com / BA in Economics / B.Sc (Ag.). And, Bachelor of Development Studies / Business Administration / Management / Planning from a recognized University / Institution. Applicants must have a minimum score of 55% in UG and a minimum score of 50% in the PGAT 2021.

 

M.Tech in Earth System Sciences

Applicants must have completed the Master in Physical / Mathematical / Chemical / Life Sciences / any discipline or a B.Tech. / B.E. with scores, CGPA no less than 55% of scores / 5.5 out of 10 (50% for SC / ST applicants) to take participation in the PGAT.

 

M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences

Applicants must have passed the degree of the bachelor with science as the main subject at a university with 50% of the marks.

 

M.Sc in Textile and Apparel Design

Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree in B.Sc / BA / B.Sc. (Home Science) from a recognized University / Institution.

 

AU PGAT Registration Process

The application form for participation in the AU PGAT 2021 starts on 11 September online. Then, the aspiring candidates who meet the selection criteria can complete the application form for the AU PGAT 2021 subsequently. In other words, applicants fill their forms through the portal provided by the administration. They not only need to fill in their academic but also personal details in the AU PGAT Application Form. At Last, candidates must also upload a scanned copy of the required documentation according to the given specification. And finally, pay the registration fee.

  • Applicants redirects to the HDFC payment gateway. Choose your preferred payment option from the following: credit, debit cards, online banking.
  • Fill in the essential details and submit the form.
  • Upon submission of the AU PGAT 2021 application, the completed form is displayed on the screen.
  • Please print several copies of the form and keep them until the admission is complete.

AU PGAT Exam Pattern

The AU PGAT 2021 Entrance Exam will take the following form:

  1. Each exam will contain a maximum of 150 multiple-choice questions.
  2. The PGAT-1 test conducts both online and offline formats. PGAT-2 test will be online only.
  3. Each correct answer award 2 points, and deduct 0.5 points for incorrect answers.
  4. All students must answer the first 50 questions. It consists of questions of General knowledge, General English, General Hindi, and Reasoning
  5. There will be two sets of 50 questions related to the topic chosen by the candidate.
  6. The candidate has 2 hours / 3 hours to take the test.
  7. If the candidate chooses only one subject. Then, the candidate will only answer 100 questions. In other words, 50 questions in the compulsory section and 50 questions in the optional subject.
  8. If the candidate chooses two subjects, the questionnaire will consist of 150 questions.
  9. The Medium of the AU Exam 2021 question paper may be in English.

AU PGAT Exam Admit Card

The Allahabad University will issue the AU PGAT Admit card. The direct link is allduniv.ac.in to download the AU PGAT Admit card. The Admit Card for registered candidates release on October 2021. The PG entrance exam conducts in October.

Applicants must enter their user ID and password to download the AU PGAT Admit card. The AU PGAT 2021 Admit card will include the applicant’s name, type, date of birth, application ID, exam center information, photo, etc. All these data on the admit card must recheck.
