How to Study 10x Faster Using This Ancient Japanese Method

By: Mukul

Feeling overwhelmed by your huge syllabus? This technique helps you focus better and learn more in less time. It’s a total game-changer!

The secret is a modern take on ancient discipline. It’s called the Pomodoro Technique, but we call it the Focus-Break Method. Simple and powerful.

Pomodoro Technique

Pick just one subject or chapter you want to finish. Avoid multitasking. All your focus should be on this single task.

Step 1: Choose Your Task

Use your phone or a clock. For these 25 minutes, you must promise yourself to study with zero distractions.

Step 2: Set a 25-Minute Timer

No social media, no messages, no daydreaming. Give 100% focus to your studies until the timer rings. You can do it!

Step 3: Work, Work, Work!

Success! Once the timer rings, stop studying. Get up, stretch, listen to a song, or drink water. Let your brain relax.

Step 4: Take a 5-Minute Break

Short sprints of focus are less scary than studying for hours. The breaks prevent burnout and help your brain absorb information.

Why does this work so well?

After completing four 25-minute focus sessions (or 'Pomodoros'), take a longer break of 15-30 minutes. This resets your mind for the next session.
